Not a bad guess. Looks like the fighter jet/Quinjet hangar on the Helicarrier, and I could see that being the same set as the trailer footage of Ruffalo hulking out.

It should be an epic fight, I hope it's not just a quick scrap.

Well it's going to be more of a quick scrap since this isn't a Thor vs Hulk movie, so don't get you're hopes up for a long epic fight.

I'd like to see Thor and Banner having some disagreement in the hangar. Thor kinda looks down his nose at Banner as 'just a mortal' with no superpowers or physical skills so to speak of. Then Banner hulks out :D

That would be amazing and the perfect way to start the fight, especially if Thor shows a brief look of fear upon first seeing the Hulk.

Would love Thor to repeat his line from his movie to Hulk as well "You're big...i've fought bigger!"

I think there would be a certain comedy element to it too. Pretty much everyone (the audience, Banner, the other Avengers) would all know what's coming once Banner starts getting wound up ................................... everyone except Thor. It wouldn't have to amount to a serious kill-or-be-killed fight, just a couple of superpowered beings slugging out their differences.

I'd certainly like to see his reaction once Banner turns green, grows a few feet taller and also a few feet wider.

I don't think movie Thor looks down upon mortals as much as people seem to think, in THOR he pretty much showed mortals respect throughout the entire film even before he became humble.

I don't mean Thor has to have that kind of attitude towards ALL humans. I just think that if some kind of argument developed between Thor and Banner, it could end up with Thor (slightly irritated) dismissing him as a mortal who doesn't know anything. . . . . . . . which then leads to a Hulk-out

But Thor seemed to find mortals pretty intelligent in his film, especially Erik Selvig (the bar scene) and Jane Foster.

I just don't think he's the "high and mighty" Thor that he is in the comics and I like it that way.

Hmmm Thor's opinion of humanity has certainly improved, but I'd still like him to have a bit of an ego............ that's part of his character IMO

To which Hulk would roar "But not STRONGER!"

I agree, he seemed to have grown quite fond of them. He also seemed to have fallen quite quickly for Jane.

I think Thor will be surprised when he finally see's Banner transform into the beast that everybody is afraid of, and wanting to test himself against the Hulk. Whedon has said that the team is a collection of giant Egos with the exception of Rogers. Hulk's ego of course being the biggest one, he will also want to confront the other most powerful member of the team- The god of thunder. Thor loves the thrill of battle, and Hulk wants to prove he's the strongest one there is. We should be in for a treat.

I still think the Thor and Hulk fight will be the result of Loki mind controlling the Hulk. Possibly to assist with escaping the Helicarrier.

I think portraying him like his character in Earth's Mightiest Heros would go a long way towards him being a favorite with the GA.

He does quite a bit of speaking (both in third person and broken English), is rather funny and is definitely a powerhouse.

Sounds like a natural evolution to me...

I just worry about the looks of HULK more than anything. HULK 03, too big a head, and got too tall. TIH, was a little too vascular and not quite thick enough.

If he looks like the concept art and in the 8-9' range, we should be good! Not too big a head, head proportion was good in TIH, but better skin texture, which looked to be better in the trailer. And of course he has to have thick, beyond human musculatur; big hands and feet, and the short nose, and big jaw like TIH.

Dale Keown is my favorite HULK artist to date... His bud Marc Silvestri is doing pretty darn good as well.

Plot in the Avengers: of course he should get into it with Thor, and I agree it should be Thor scoffing at the idea of HULK (given they've never met) and Thor is impressed by the big green guy. Perhaps a little comedic and brought under control by someone HULK identifies with.

HULK has to take mop up duty, otherwise, what good does all that strength do? Perhaps it looks as though Loki's cohorts have HULK overwhelmed, then he does some monolithic feat of strength before coming to the aid of the rest! (Perhaps this could also be the moment that captures the attention of the great Warmongerer; Thanos for The Avengers 2)

I've wanted to see Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet vs. the Avengers since MARVEL Super Heroes on the original Nintendo! LOL!

My guess is that Banner transforms into the Hulk after he's pushed out of the window alongside Black Widow during that mini explosion and that Banner is no longer able to suppress the Hulk from coming out.

I also think that this may be the first time that we see the Hulk appear in the film and given that the Hulk has been let loose in the MCU for 2 years, he can't be the most happiest of beings when he's finally out, let alone willing to go back to Banner so soon.

Plus, I think that the Hulk in his fit of rage probably confronts some of Loki's minions on board of the Hellcarrier as they try to free him within the midst of the confusion and that this is when the Hulk's anger becomes too unbearable, thus becoming the grenade/loose canon that mark had mentioned about...resulting in Thor having to deal with the Hulk

That's something I had not considered- that Hulk has probably been trapped in Banner for quite some time at this point, and he's going to be even more pissed than usual when he finally gets out, thus smashing whoever is near him at the time.

True, alot of people want Thor to be suprised at the Hulk's strength but they fail to realize how small Thor is comparaed to Hulk.

So I think Hulk will be suprised by Thor's strength as well, seeing as how a human sized opponent is able to match him blow for blow.

I still want to see Thor's God strength in action, without Mjolnir. What better opportunity than in a slugfest with The Hulk.
