That doesn't mean much, apart from the writer ignoring or forgetting that Gladiator is FTL and can explode planets with punches. Happens all the time in comics. It's why Black Panther put Silver Surfer in an arm bar, instead of the Surfer just going intangible or making BP think he was a house cat.

Seriously, if you went by the characters consistent power levels, Gladiator could hit Hulk with a 1000 planet busting punches before Hulk even realised he was in a fight. He's basically Pre-Crisis Superman, which is ridiculous levels of power. But, it would make for a boring fight and Hulk is more popular than Gladiator.

It's called plot induced stupidity.

I wonder how Juggernaut would do against Zeus? Marko is the Avatar of a god, so how would he hold up against the king of the gods?

He probably wouldn't on Olympus. Maybe on neutral ground he might stand a chance. In the Crimson Cosmos, he would probably hand Zeus his butt in a sling.

Look, I don't wanna debate it, but Gladiator is up there with the Flash and Pre-Crisis Superman in terms of speed. That is part of his powerset. He also explodes planets with punches. He'd destroy Hulk or Thor if they were all written correctly.

Gladiator not using his speed in a fight is like Hulk not using his strength in a fight. It's bad writing.

Green Scar was able to ,for some time, stop and redirect Juggernaut's charge. I don't think Zeus would have any problems with juggy.

How do you know he could "drain the gamma" from hulk....and your first point is exactly what i'm saying. Hulk is the character we read comics for, not zeus; therefore Hulk will eventually win in a fight between them. Hulk has been shown in the past to lose a battle with what seems to be a more powerful entity from time to time but when push comes to shove he WILL overcome any obstacle: I mean this is the whole point of his abilities: they are limitless...gamma is the most powerful energy in the universe btw

Gladiator is now where near as powerful as PC Supes, who could destroy whole solar systems with a sneeze,drag whole Galaxies worth of planets,fly across the universe in seconds.

Gladiator can fly across the universe in seconds. Yea he can't destroy solar systems with a sneeze, but that's just stupid and i was talking about speed

The funny thing is if the writers did want to write a story with Hulk beating a top tier god, they most likely would have hulk go though some type of trail where he acquires some special weapon and Armor that would put them on par with them.

People seem to forget that any writer can write anything into a comic. You may not want Hulk to do anything like that but It could happen.

I mean Thor became just as powerful as Odin at one point didn't he.

This is basically all I was saying...I can't make a judgement call on whether it is right that he does it or not...all I was saying is that the next time Hulk and Zeus are written together the outcome will probably be different because that is how it is being set up from the recent issue; imo ...by the way Zeus is an ass anyway and deserves to get beat. (this i learned refreshing my mythology recently)

I don't know about Hulk, but Thor's able to swing his hammer at TWICE the speed of light so I wouldn't say Gladiator could "destroy" him just because of his speed.

He's also destroyed planets by punching people be threw them, so Gladiator's planet busting punches wouldn't really give him an edge.

This makes me wonder...how fast is Hulk tho? anybody know of any instances where he did anything and his speed was talked about? I know he has ridiculous timing when it comes to landing a punch lightning fast character..

He's fast. Insanely fast for his size, that's what people always say. Spider-Man is one of the few that can keep him off guard.

yeah thats what I was thinking...I mean if your base strength is 100 tons and you weigh a half a ton....you literally should be able to move very quickly....think about it, if your base max lifting strength total body is 100lbs and you weigh half a pound then you should be able to move ridiculously fast

That's when Hulk got really mad, and was able to snatch Spidey out of the air. I think the only reason he was able to was because Spidey's guard was down. Even he said for something so big, he shouldn't be able to move as fast as he does.

That was such a huge instance of PIS, Spidey shouldn't ever be able to KO the Hulk, especially with a Volkswagen.
