Yeah, it won’t be the same without Gunn; it’s his personal project and he even wrote all the dialogue for the Guardians in IW. And he was supposed to oversee the cosmic side of Marvel in the future as well. This is a major blow to MCU.

I think they'd be fine leaving him on as a screenwriter. It's not nearly as public a figure as the director.

I expect they'll try to work with someone else to try to take things forward. There is never a shortage of talented people in Hollywood.
