As I explained before Sky is considerably more valuable than any Marvel rights Comcast owns and Hulu put together. They could simply roll back on the big Inhuman expansion. An idea only brought forward in the books because Marvel didn't like creating new mutant characters that were immediately under Fox's contract for movies.
Use the last season of AOS to set up an event that undoes the transformations in the general populace who only had diluted Inhuman potential. Those with stronger more direct links to the original genome (Quake and the originals) can remain. Job done, slate cleared for the movies to go Mutant and pay no mind to the series (not that they ever have).

Other than bidding up the price to make Fox's 39% more valuable, I don't see the point. There's absolutely no chance Roberts is going to lose a bidding war for Sky after losing out on Fox proper. And given that the business is a much better fit for Kabletown's existing lines he can justify stretching on this one. Much moreso than the Mouses which has tens of billions in new debt to manage. I doubt very much Iger that puts in another bid.

As things are looking to turn out Feige splitting from Ike's oversight and allowing the movies to completely ignore the TV shows will work out better as there is zero need for the MCU to address the Inhumans at all when introducing an obviously similar concept in Mutants. As far as the movies are concerned Inhumans were never acknowledged anyway, even when Civil War could have played lip service to thier existence when Vision was talking about the exponential rise in super threats since Stark went public as Iron-Man.

I would prefer though that the TV guys use AOS' final season to clean that up, just from a continuity pov. Undoing the expansion they introduced in the show would do that job.

I get the sense they're reaching the 'time to forget and move on' finish line. No spinoff/continuation in the horizon as far as we know, this upcoming season has been truncated, no telling how much lower the budget has gotten, and still little-no acknowledgement on the movie front.

I agree that if they ever were going to reference Marvel TV, Civil War would have been the movie to do that. Did you know that Disney is giving IDW a non-exclusive license to make Marvel superhero comics (for young audiences)? That's the second red flag after Kevin Feige successfully asking to have Marvel Studios ripped out of Marvel Entertainment that Iger and the board see problems in Perlmutter's fief that require restructuring of Marvel.
If they pull the Marvel TV studio out of ME by the end of 2019, we might see streaming shows Marvel Studios will actually acknowledge. And Ike will be left sitting with nothing but the right to publish Marvel comics non-exclusively.

Until Disney actually makes a move, I won't put much stock in the idea that they are going to continue bidding for the bulk of Sky. Should they, I don't expect them to make any moves until after next Friday. The value of Sky is unquestionable. Whether or not they'd be a good fit for Disney is another matter.
