You don't care what Bob Iger, the guy who put this entire deal together, and convinced Rupert Murdoch to give up all of his entertainment assets, has to say? The guy who is taking over everything Fox is giving up? You honestly don't care? Well, alrighty then.

The Fox-verse is dead. Gone. Outta here. Over. Best come to terms with that indefinite reality. It's dead, and it is never coming back.

Well we'll see. That species should've already died out in 2015 after Fant4stic but we're still waiting for all the FFINO defenders to come in here.

With Aquaman already exploring that world, I would prefer to see homeless amnesiac Namor finding out his once glorious kingdom was destroyed by surface dwellers. And being displeased. IMPERIUS REX!

Does the DC Atlantis have the same type of history, in that the comics have a whole list of events that happened even before the cataclysm?

Not that I'm saying your amnesiac idea wouldn't work, I'm just unclear about how much DC has copied from Namor into Aquaman. Even if it does start like you said, that doesn't negate the possibility that we'll get flashback into all that history.

No need to. Thanos is a purple alien with a weird chin.
Brolin can play Cable AND Thanos in the same movie if they want to, other characters can chalk it up to coincidence if they sort of look alike. Hell, Deadpool would come up with several jokes about it.

I wouldn't even guess that Brolin was Thanos if I didn't know from sites like this one and saw his name in the credits. He completely disappears in the role. I would have zero problem with him playing both Cable and Thanos in the MCU. It would be like when John Rhys-Davies played both Gimli and Treebeard in the LOTR films.

I wouldn't even guess that Brolin was Thanos if I didn't know from sites like this one and saw his name in the credits. He completely disappears in the role. I would have zero problem with him playing both Cable and Thanos in the MCU. It would be like when John Rhys-Davies played both Gimli and Treebeard in the LOTR films.

They aren't going to shelve Deadpool films. The last one made a ton of money and they are still profitable. I think X-Force and Deadpool 3 will still happen. You can debate if they are really part of the MCU or not. I don't see Deadpool ever showing up in a MCU anyway. He doesn't work as a PG13 character.

We cannot get the formal Defenders team name, no. But I think in Doctor Strange 2, it is possible Hulk is in it and along with a 3rd character, they basically make a classic Defenders. No Namor or Surfer exist yet, so unsure who they would use at this moment. Valkyrie?

I don't know about cancelled, but I would guess that it isn't that far into productiin that being cancelled is a real probability. Which would be a shame imo. I would say put it on the back burner a bit longer and re-tool it according to how Deadpool may fit into the mcu.
