Did you not read what I wrote? It doesn't matter if they cast him as Magneto. He could turn out to be the Django Maximoff who was thought killed by a Stark bomb.

Is the past really so toxic to you that you consider teasing audiences with an Oscar winner who's famous and beloved from so many blockbusters hurting your favorite brand?

Jackman is too iconic, unless they completely change him up and even then I have my doubts. Others like the girl who played Storm in Apocalypse can be recast (though I don't want her as Storm either).

I would like to see Jackman as Logan in Deadpool 3 though and DP killing them off along with all other FoxMen and FF. That's such a fantastic idea lol. Of course that shouldn't be the point of the movie.

The Charles/Raven relationship was nonsense from the start. It only got worse from there, with Raven abandoning her "brother" as he lay crippled and stranded being a low point of the series for me. Mystique should have been a strong, fierce mutant leader/rebel in her own right rather than Magneto's henchwoman. She always had her own goals and ideology in the comics, twisted as those were, and she never tolerated the X-Men for long, let alone led them. That's the Mystique I want to see in the MCU.

Oh man, we can finally get a comic accurate look for Mystique. No more stupid fish scales and body suitspaint.

I say make it that she can just morph her body into someone else, but not mimic their clothing. They don't need to show her suiting up in someone else's clothing. They can have a quick scene of her having fully changed, clothing and all, and we can assume that she must've found the clothes somewhere.

Then when she morphs back, she can still be in the same clothes. I think it makes it more exciting that way, because it means that she is in more danger if she gets caught, and she has to think of imaginative ways how to get the right pieces of clothing.

Otherwise just morphing, clothing and all seems to take a bit of the suspense away.

Yes. And he’s only a nominee, actually. But you’re right. Still beloved and iconic. But the FOX-Men movies are an unnecessarily complication on MCU continuity. Hell, to FOX continuity itself. Let the past die. Those movies were on average...average.

I love this look for Mystique. There was never any reason for her not to be clothed as she was in the source material.

Well, they could make her morphing clothing some kind of tech. I don't mind that. But don't make it part of her mutant ability. Just give her the ability to change only her body but then she uses some kind of unstable molecule clothing to do the rest to complete the illusion.
