I wonder if Kraglin will pop up in Endgame for some reason

Captain Marvel was likeable enough so her being the new face of the MCU is cool. I doubt it’ll stay that way with everyone else coming back home.

With the right casting very soon I hope this guy atleast gets a shot:

Scott deserves it.
Cyclops, Storm and Reed can be leaders along with CM, BP and Strange (if he hangs around enough).

I just watched Yondu's death and funeral again and it still brings a tear to the eye. Kraglin's reaction at the start of the fireworks really brings it home too.

Sounds good. I also see a bit of Cap in BP and IM in CM.

Oh sure. They both have some elements from Thor as well (BP is the king of some outside society, CM has her feet planted in the cosmic realm and is the most powerful one). But I prefer the Black Panther/Tony Stark comparison because they are both geniuses from "royalty" with state of the art technology while the Caps are career soldiers that are the result of science experiments in a world where they don't really fit in.

Iron Man probably has my favourite final line/shot of any comic book movie, but GOTG2 ending on Rocket's tears is a very close second. For being mostly a comedy, there is real emotion in the GOTG films.

While I'm not huge on Vol2, there are some elements I really enjoy. Still looking forward to Vol 3. Especially with Gunn coming back.

I'm just looking forward to seeing all three of them interact. Unfortunately; I think it might be a little while. Looking at the possible upcoming slate in "Phase 4" I don't really see an Avengers 5 or team-up movie coming out for a while.

The Iron Man ending was an amazing way to end a CBM and will be hard to beat. And I find it almost crazy how a fair number of my favourite MCU emotional scenes come in the 2 hair-brained films. :D:

I wonder if Tye Sheridan regrets making those comments about the Avengers movie now that this acquisition is done.

Not that I want him to stick around, but it’s gotta suck to eat crow.

What did he say?

I like Tye and I'll feel a little bad about not seeing him stick around in the role. I doubt he regrets saying that anyway since A) He probably doesn't even really remember saying it and B) Marvel is gonna recast

I can take or leave him, but MCU Scott Summers needs someone with more kick.

Give us Henry Cavill or Scott Eastwood.

To me that's what makes the Guardians movies unique and special. Space adventures with juvenile jokes and moments of real emotional impact. It's a mix that shouldn't really work but somehow it does.

Let's face it, he wasn't going to come back anyway. It's not like his comments are the reason he won't be MCU Cyclops

No way do I want Cavill, nor do I see Marvel casting him and Eastwood is not a good actor.
I'll take Taron Egerton for Cyclops

Exactly. And for me the MCU was wavering and in danger of losing the momentum from the Avengers boost when Guardians and TWS came in and invigorated it. When I first saw Guardians I couldn't believe how good it was. It's also one of my most rewatchable films along with the Avengers films and Ragnarok,

How often do we hear MCU actors saying negative things about the Fox films? And what an ironic comment from someone starring in a unnecessary remake to a recent film.

Did he really "slam" Marvel movies? After all, it is by the Express. And all British tabloid newspapers have the word "slams", "blasts", "hits back" in their headlines even if someone said something in the most neutral, positive or even gentle way when you actually look into it.

There is not a single British tabloid headline that doesn't have one of those words. You'd think people would go round slamming or blasting each other all the time. :o

Nah, I think with Scott Summers you need a strapping, tall, Captain America type to play him. He’s the OG field leader of the X-Men for a reason, he should be physically imposing.

Cavill could be a good mutant antithesis to Cap.

You can want Cavill for Cyclops all you want, but I guarantee it won't happen

Police arrested him, same police that "woke" people hate on. Terrance Howard defended him, as did others. Didn't he return to work? I know they didn't kick him off the show, just cut him out from scenes.

Who, exactly turned on him? Has Ellen Page who was practically crying a talk show, said anything about the hoax?
Last I heard Kamala Harris didn't even know what she said when the truth came out.

Bottom line, what Smollet did was far worse a crime than a decade old joke on social media, and he still has a job. So nobody better start with this James Gunn white privilege B.S.

Lol again. He is facing 65 yrs in jail and has been blacklisted. People turned on him even in the civil rights community. Just stop
