If Sony tries to force Feige into putting Venom in the MCU as well as their other spinoffs, I could see him walking away from the deal.I hate to be a debbie downer but that might be our Empire Strikes Back right there. After the victory of blowing up the Death Star known as Fox's control of X-Men and Fantastic Four now we might get our arm's cut off(not literally obviously) when Sony pulls out Spider-Man out of the MCU.
Our Return Of Jedi is Comcast/Universal redeeming themselves and giving up the remaining Marvel distribution/theme parks rights in exchange for something.
Happy for everyone, but I'm mostly happy for you. I don't know anyone that loves F4 as much as you do.
Unless Feige has a completed script waiting in his desk drawer, any of the newly arrived heroes are unlikely to hit screens at least until 2021, if not later.
Hell no! I'm looking forward to that movie. They can always go 4 movies per year and add xmen or f4.Can they just halt Eternals and start production on MCU Uncanny X-Men?
Does Sony have a set time for spidey in the MCU or there's no expiration yet? If spider-man is getting the trilogy treatment like other characters then that leaves Far From Home, MCU Spidey 3 and maybe Avengers 5
The existing deal expires after FFH. It was for 5 movies, CW, Homecoming, IW, EG, and now FFH. They have to extend the deal for further appearances.
But what makes this confusing is Hollands contract includes a sixth film. Im guessing the licensing deal (which apparently only covers 5 films) is separate from Hollands contract.
Happy Birthday! The deal closing this morning is one of the nicest Birthday presents I could have hoped for.
A big shout out to all of us who were here in this thread from the beginning. Hope kept alive, hope fulfilled, and in manner we never would have seriously guessed at back then.
Now for God's sake Marvel, don't mess them up, lol..

Definitely. She's about to be the second most popular xmen, only behind Wolverine. A lot of people are invested in what the MCU will do with her. Will Storm, Weather Goddess and leader of the X-Men, finally become more popular with the masses than Groot the talking tree? Time will tell.
And she better not touch a hair on Carol's head.I just realized something Marvel has gotten access to most if not all their best female characters.
Better watch out Carol Danvers, Rogue is coming for you.
I don't know the specifics of it but it might've been when the whole of Cliffhanger Comics, together with Jim Lee's exclusive contract (plus WildStorm) that they were bought off by DC.I knew Danger Girl wasn't Marvel but I didn't realize it was DC. I thought it was independent. Did it come over via the Image Comics buyout?
Can we add obtaining Netflix MCU seasons for Hulu.I am beyond ecstatic ,or as psylockecolossus would say, eXstatic...
But still focused on the remaining goals:
Getting full Hulk and Namor rights back.
Breaking Sony's hold on Spidey
flushing Perlmutters influence from Marvel TV, or anything Marvel related
and last, but certainly not least
having FOX Dark Phoenix changed to streaming instead of theatrical
Never
Stop
Hoping
I know you’re being facetious but Danger Girl is DC![]()
