You cant help but feel bad for the New Mutants cast being strung along like this. I hope Disney updates them soon on whats going on.
Man, its funny. Even though I always thought that New Mutants looked like total trash I at least thought it looked better than Fan4stic(which never looked good at all) & Fan4stic still ultimately got the re-shoots and released while this film looks like it won't even get a limited theatrical release.

Hulu it is then.

I can't wait for Morbius, I can't believe that movie is being made, I hope it's as stupid as the Venom movie. Keep in mind I always have been fond of Morbius as a character, the fact that he's getting his own movie from Sony is so left-field and makes me ask "who is this being made for?" regardless. I hope Jared Leto brings the same stupidity he brought to the Joker because that will make for a beautifully strange movie.

I don't really care about Sony still having the rights (except for Spider-Woman), i dont think Sony can keep up doing these movies for the next ten years without doing another reboot. I just don't think it would last very long. I also don't think we will get six solo Spider-Man films under the MCU so a lot of characters/villains won't get their shot so I guess Sony should use those characters for their own. Though for the mcu, Venom could have been a cool villain, the symbiote could have been an interesting story arc, Silver Sable and Black Cat could have been interesting supporting characters for the MCu Peter Parker especially I really don't like the supporting characters (the students/Sexy May) of these two MCU Spidey films. But I would have preferred if Marvel Stud10s is the only film studio making these live action Marvel films since I don't think these Sony Marvel movies would lead up to something really special.

I suspect that, even if this rumors is true, they misunderstand the meaning of "main villain". Taskmaster certainly works fine as a heavy, but the actual main villain would be whoever the mastermind actually driving the plot is.

Why is he more interested using an Avenger or another character from another ip instead of an actual X-Men character for a X-Men film? The interviewer didn't ask for a cross over film with the X-Men.

Those two are better off for their own films or the Avengers.

And I'm sure Black Panther and Iron Man have appeared in a X-Men comic book. But we are talking about a X-Men movie here. A X-Men movie isn't the right place for the Avengers to show up in a leading or supporting role, especially when Kinberg have already wasted so many X-Men characters. If he wants the X-Men to interact with the other Mcu heroes, do it in a crossover film or Avengers.

You're being a bit anal retentive about it. He was asked about Marvel characters he'd like to use and he picked two of the most popular and visible ones currently. It's not that deep.

Nope, he was specifically asked about characters to appear in a X-Men film not a cross over. Did you watch the video. It just shows he doesn't care that much to the other X-Men characters.

It would be an equivalent of me, saying I want to see Iron Man or Captain America in a Fantastic Four movie.

Or maybe he's in some fantasy that those characters have a chance of appearing in the foXverse movies. Which of course it ain't gonna happen.

And he said two characters he'd like to appear in an X-Men film.
two characters he's dying to see (per the interviewer's question). Really? there are more important characters to appear in a X-Men (not a crossover) movie. But its Kinberg, so Im not surprised. The Skrulls were originally the villains for a Dark PhoeniX movie after all!

Simon Kinberg Wants Gambit To Happen At Disney

Why do I feel bad for Kinberg? Like, I'm not being sarcastic. I'm genuinely starting to feel bad for the guy
I am annoyed that he continues to spread pr lies. They have a great script yet three directors bailed on them? A great script that they cant film be cause of budget cuts, of course he's not gonna admit that.

I don't feel bad for him as I don't think he's the right guy to oversee these films. He's not even a good writer to begin with.

Poor Simon

The walls are clearly caving in, yet he’s still keeping up with that optimistic Boy Scout attitude. God bless his simple soul.

Well...there is one Avenger I wouldn't mind seeing in an X-Men film. Has the initials WM.

Mr. Kinberg is a wildly successful, extremely wealthy film producer who earned $40M for Deadpool alone and lives in a $31.5M mansion in the Hollywood Hills. I'm saving my sorrys for someone else.
