Well, Spider-Man is only 3 years into the MCU. Who knows? They may tackle the Green Goblin again a couple years down the line. Dark Phoenix doesn't have to be off the table forever is what we're saying. Yes it won't be for a long time but that's why ii've suggested a long build up the story. Establishing characters and relationships and developing the X-Men before the story that started in X1 comes to a close in Dark Phoenix in 2030. But I do agree that the first 2 films will probably want to distance themselves from what came before and go in a fresh direction. The reason I don't think Marvel will ever try the Dark Phoenix again is because it seems they don't like to rehash things that have been done before too much. I'd say there's as much as a chance that Marvel will do the Dark Phoenix saga again as there is that they will do the death of Gwen Stacy saga again in the MCU.
If Marvel Studios can skip Spider-Man’s origin story after we’ve seen two times in both the Riami/Webb versions then they will most likely skip the Dark Phoenix saga again after we’ve seen it done two times with Ratner & Kinberg. Similar to their handling of Spider-Man Marvel will likely opt to go fresh and try things that have never been done onscreen before with the X-Men. It’s very unlikely that Marvel will do anything with that storyline.

Anyone know why this never happend? Apparenly sony was looking at selling some of its assets last year the same way Fox did.

we might get a new dark phoenix trailer this weekend.
There was this but not much new informationWern't we supposed to hear about Brazil approval on Wednesday?
I'm now happy that the crappy FF films never went further than the origin. All of their major stories can be told without it feeling like a rehash to the audience. Marvel is not going to tackle Dark Phoenix for while, especially as this will be the second time it's been done.
I don't count Rise of the Silver Surfer film as an adaptation of the coming of Galactus story. It was so far removed form the comic story that Marvel has no problem doing it.
The Fox-4 movies screwed Doctor Doom over twice, however. He wasn't the comic book Doom in either version, but he was portrayed poorly nonetheless. Marvel needs to nail Doom perfectly the very first time he appears. Positioning him as Reed Richards' arch enemy and as the preeminent villain of the MCU is of paramount important. Doom's role in the wider universe flows from that basis.
This is why I've always objected to Hawley's Doom project. Doom's relationship with Reed and the FF should serve as his foundation. Only when that is established should his background be expanded upon.
This is just hilarious at this point I love it.
And make him look more like this:

And less like this:

Well I speculated a few days ago that we'd get an Avengers trailer with the words "Untitled Avengers Film" at the end of it.
Should be the Avengers Logo with just Apri/May 2019 on top and the Avengers theme in the background.

Some of the FFINO defenders thought that Crash Test Dummy Doom looked good and more realistic than the supposedly ridiculous-looking comic Doom whom they would probably laugh at if they saw him in real life dressed like that.
