I was reading somewhere that allegedly you can see the Baxter Building being constructed on in the Far From Home teaser.

It's too late for Endgame, IMO. But I believe they'll have time to add at least some easter eggs or possibly cameos in Far From Home.

The whole Mystique-Rogue-Nightcrawler-Destiny saga would be a great miniseries for Disney+.

They should let me write it!

Feige said he's interested not only in the big names, but "small characters" as well. I'm super curious about that. Of course I want to see the A-lists in the MCU, but I'm also intrigued about what kind of Guardians of the Galaxy property they can pull out of the X-Men. Either as movies or as streaming shows.

Literally? Starjammers. My idea was to show Scott's origin (The Shi'ar ambush) in a flashback and cast a known actor as Christopher Summers to set up Starjammers. Corsair could be like a reverse Starlord. Christopher missing Scott and Alex ala Quill missing his mom. Dealing with the loss of his life (whom was murdered right in front of his eyes). There is a lot of potential

I personally would love to see something done with Alpha Flight

They're considering making series with characters they don't even own yet? Suuuuure.

Do you really think that Iger and Feige aren't at least talking about these projects yet? They may not be putting anything on paper (or in emails) yet, but they'd be fools not to have informal discussions before the deal is finalized.

The deal is basically done at this point. I bet theyve been working on stuff since DOJ approval last summer.

Spidey swings past the base of Avengers Tower, which has construction scaffolding around it. Tony Stark was in the process of selling the building in Homecoming and the new owner is obviously redesigning it. But, and here's the important thing, there is no indication who the new owner is in the trailer. Some fans and click-baiters have jumped to the conclusion that it's going to be the Baxter/Oscorp/Daily Bugle/whatever building, but there is no proof of any of that whatsoever, just a bunch of rubbish spec and wishful thinking.

No, I don't think that. Of course they are.

Exactly. They won't be able to "officially" plan anything until the deal is closed. This is why I don't believe this rumor.

Starjammers and Alpha Flight are certainly not the biggest names, and I'd be excited for both. But I don't feel they're "obscure" properties. And I was actually talking about what kind of obscure properties they can adapt. Properties not even die hard fans remember, like GoTG or The Eternals.

I don't think there would be any legal barriers preventing Feige and people working for him from having detailed, lengthy conversations, meetings, memos, e-mails etc. regarding what they will do once they have the Fox properties.

My wife's company bought another company, and during the time they were waiting for the official closing, they did a lot of things to make sure they could hit the ground running on the day of closing (including things like discussing logos, business cards, office space, what groups would likely be merged etc. etc. etc.).

The primary legal restriction was they couldn't actually coordinate with people at the other company. They couldn't call them up and discuss projects they were working on and specific details of what would be happening after the closing, but internally, they had plenty of freedom to plan and discuss. It wasn't a forbidden topic. On the contrary, they needed to put a lot of things in place to make sure it would go smoothly. The only forbidden element was cross-communication and coordination with the other company.

What are these behavioural remedies they mention? Simon Kinberg undergoing some kind of treatment to remedy his behaviour towards the X-Men and FF? :o

:funny:

If I were a dictator of a South American country, I would say: "We'll approve the deal, but Kevin Feige has to publicly state: "Simon Kinberg is a talent-less hack."

Maybe Marvel can have a new reality show on the Disney+ steaming service. They can drop people like Simon Kinberg, Josh Trank, Avi Arad and Scott Buck in a jungle somewhere with no luxuries or essentials. The show can be called "I'm a Hack.... Get Me Out Of Here!" :o

I’m absolutely fascinated with Avi Arad

Guy is probably in his mid 70’s and his wardrobe strictly consists of a spider-man beanie hat, a spider-man or venom shirt, a black blazer and those Ozzy Osbourne glasses

I need to know everything about him

And they have to produce films in said jungle, until Kevin Feige decides they have a film worthy of getting out of the jungle.

and if they added some dangerous criatures that make them run for their lives... Id definetly watch it lol

basically a Hunger Games for these people, since Kinberg loves Katniss so much
