By which I mean a projected curving flat plate.

I honestly don't like that suit very much but if they modified the cowl to be more sleek I might be down.

REALLY did not like the suit in TDK.

When he was in the dark, it was fine. But once he was out in the light, the whole fear factor and mystery was lost. It just looked like a guy called Bale is dressed in a modern commando black armor uniform. Toppled with that, the amount of ridges on the suit as well as the neck and head that made Bale look very odd, distracted me whenever he talked.

The Begins suit is a good template and they could have made adjustments but just in keeping with the same psychology.

In Batman, the suit that Burton and his team made is still the benchmark and in Returns, they kept the same idea but just made him looks even scarier and the film was even darker.

A new suit is definitely going to be in part three and I just hope that they somehow clean it up, remove the ridges and make it more streamlined and smooth it out.

looks awful (though it's a logical extension of the "realistic" bat armor idea). But the cowl is better than the ones in either of the Nolan movies.

I don't mind the actual design. It's the colour t hat is painful. (I understand it is for a live show, to be seen on stage, so it has to be bold) but if they gave us this design in black, or a very dark gray in the movies. I wouldn't complain.

I'm going to need a reinforced gag reflex if the design gets any worse.

They could go with the Halo inspired design:

I would be very happy with this design. Although there is no reason for the chest, gauntlets and boots to be so busy. If the chest was just calm and normal like the BB suit and a big Bat logo, with regular gauntlets and non-spaceman boots then it would be legit.

Something like this concept art would be a combo of the Begins and TDK neck and for me that seems like a fair enough compromise to retain that "demon/beast" type anatomy.

Like you guys mentioned the anatomy of the Begins suit is great if they can somehow keep that and improve on the neck and the rest of the cowl which looked great for the most part in Begins.

I'd love something in line with the first Keaton suit, I know there's no connection between the film's but that yellow oval bat on his chest and the whole suit was just perfect.

NO! Too much of that going on in TDK. Half the time when he was talking to Fox over the com-link I kept thinking "THIS IS SNAKE! CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

No more super-soldier stuff!

Hes always using a com to talk to Oracle and all the other bat friends. Really dont have a problem with it.

This is definitely my favorite version of the Batsuit. It looks pretty comic accurate, it's not too bulky, it's stylish and it has nice armor designs w/out going overboard.

If Kojima wants to make MGS even more of a legend getting Chris Nolan to adapt that into film (Bale as Solid Snake or maybe Big Boss if they decide to start out with him) that would be something of heavenly proportions.

Please redo the cowl for TDKR. In TDK it looked like he was wearing an odd shaped helmet. All in all I would really like for them to make the suit less....busy.
