Yeah but like i said above...Asia is Spidey territory.

That said, Spiderman has never gone face-to-face with another hero on the same day, and TDK was massive in China (seeing as it served as the most pirated movie in China's history).

I don't know. I'm not predicting a slaughter.

Yep, I would have felt bad for the Chinese had they been denied of TDKR.

Good for them.

Why did they ban TDK? There are many movies with chinese criminals, do they ban them all? Didn't Warner Bros. know Chinese are touchy about this stuff?

They should have shot it in my country. We even have a city named "Batman" :woot:

What's it looking like now that we are two weeks away from the release date in terms of breaking records for opening weekend?

Most people are predicting around $180-190 million mark.

Can't remember who but some site is predicting it to make almost $200 million OW.

If it makes 200 OW, do you think WB will make a throne for Nolan at WB headquarters?

They haven't already? Wouldn't be surprise if its in their boardroom whenever he comes in for a meeting.

I'm excited for what WB will let Nolan do next, heres hoping for another original high budget project.

Yes, it'll be made of platinum, diamonds and the blood of David O'Russell.

It would be a crime if they haven't already.

What are the chances of Nolan's next project being James Bond, or something organic like Inception?

Well, bear in mind that Nolan doesn't have a "first look" deal with WB. So while it may be incredibly likely, it's not a done-deal that Nolan's next film will be with WB.

surely they'd be a little more accommodating to Nolan's needs in order to keep in back on though right?

Didn't Michael Caine state in his latest interview that Nolan was working at a new specific project and that he was in it? So the speculation about what it is can begin.
(Probably in another thread since it is off-topic)

I hope so. With all the hype going on, i hoping it will be the new record holder. we are so close!!!

It's not going to get the record for opening weekend...

It will for a non-3D film though which is pretty impressive in and of itself.

I plan on seeing this movie at least 3 times during its run. So I'm doing my part to push it to a billion.

27.07.2012 WB headquarters...
