Start entering your codes, people! I want exclusive content :cmad:

Yep, earliest reviews for Green Lantern popped up 2-3 days before it came out. 22 days is definitely a sign of confidence.

DEW stuff is live. I'm reading the "Dent Act" press release now!

The 29th will be a nerve wrecking day...so the embargos will be lifted by then?

Interesting, guess we know what the Dent act is now.

Wow, one of the prizes is a Bane mask replica.

If it was Catwoman's mask/goggles I would be devastated - just knowing I probably wouldn't win. :oldrazz:

The other guy was Scott Mendelson, he's a film critic. I have no idea what his credibility is since I've never heard of him. But here's the reply he made to Kris: ++click

Frequent reader of his blog. Scott's made no bones about how much he loves the Batman character and considers the Dark Knight the definitive Batman film. Over the years, he's done the most editorials on box office and Batman. Today, he posted a 20 year retrospective on how Batman Returns changed the industry. Great, great read.

But, he's cautiously, cautiously optimistic/worried about Rises because of Bane and the rising expectations of the film and the fact that, sooner or later, Nolan's got to make at least one films that doesn't work, right?

He's no hater of Batman. But, again, when Bane was announced, he was underwhelmed by the decision. He didn't like the prologue all that much, but the final trailer for Rises finally got to him and he's seems genuinely hopeful of the film.

But, he has concerns, especially after coming off of Knight...which we all sort of had when details and footage were scarce.

The Batcave is revealed on the Dew site on the 8th of July or when 5 million codes have been redeemed.

Can some one translate that tweet again about the review embargo?

My bottle of Mountain Dew doesn't have TDKR on it. It's just a regular bottle.

I tried putting the numbers below the barcode but it didn't work. I guess you only get codes on bottles with TDKR on them? :(

Didn't like the prologue "all that much"? He called it terrible. Pretty strong word to use IMHO. I didn't think it was the greatest thing I've ever seen by any means, but terrible? No. Absolutely not. It's a solid action scene IMHO. Meanwhile, I don't believe he called TDK the definitive Batman film. If I'm not mistaken he has said he still prefers B89. His 20 year retrospective was for B89, not Returns. He talked about how it changed marketing strategies and home video timelines in the industry.

EDIT: Oops, I see that he did post a retrospective for Returns as well. Sorry for my attempt at correcting you. Crow served for me. :p Here are the retrospectives for anyone who wants to read them:

Thanks for the info, he seems trustworthy. Seems like he's trying not to get his hopes up, which is better than being let down. I'm going to go read that article, does sound like a good read.

Why people are saying that the embargo will be lifted on the 29th of june? The brazilian poster only told us a brazilian critic confirms she will see it on that date.
