as much as eveyone wants to see bane killed but killed in a way that batman doesnt physically kill him id rather see the reverse. Batman has his one rule but like he stated hes not afraid anymore hes angry. If Alfred and perhaps gordan are killed those are close friends to him, it would be a sight for sore eyes to see batman ruthlessly take out all his aggression and hatred on bane to the point the audience is stunned.

That or i want the batman to die

I could easily see this ending like "Whatever happened to the man of tommorow"

In that Superman kills mxy to save the day, the deliberately gets rid of his powers and decides never to be Superman again.

I can see Bruce going down the road should he end Bane's life and break his one rule. I dont really prefer that, but I can see it happening.

I don't know how Bane gets defeated... but I think this has something to do with it and I think this, even though we've had it for a long time, is the biggest spoiler of the whole movie.

Logically, this shouldn't be long after that...

bane.jpg

The articles have said Bane can't survive without his anesthesia he receives from his mask, so if he doesn't have that, maybe he does die.

But the "rumors" about him taking his mask off and committing suicide are wrong.
Judging by that gif, He obvious did not want that mask off at all...

What I like about the gif. where he pounds a hole in the pillar is it obviously showcases his strength, but something else as well. Notice: there are two holes in the pillar. Bane's not just surging through some dying strength, he's lashing out indiscriminately, almost futile in his actions. There's going to be something very satisfying in seeing the film's villain rendered helpless and hopeless in his final moments.

Wasn't it revealed that [blackout]the final Bane/Batman fight would be at City Hall?

It would be likely that the device would be taken out through that final vehicle chase scene.[/blackout]

You could still factor it into the equation by having a "surprise, he's not dead yet!" come back for one final small showdown.

I'm still wondering why he's punching that wall. Is he trying to escape? Was he trying to deal with the pain because his mask is broken? Or is he just being stupid because well the pain is too much to handle?

I think it's this... well, maybe not stupid, but I assume the pain is making him go a "bit" nuts.

Its funny because I was on set in Pittsburgh, and I saw a prop replica column. I had no idea what it was for and No one had figured it out. now we know!

From closer inspection, it doesn't look like a wall. It looks like a pillar.

Is that blood on his head? Or is it just the shadow?

the pain is probably overwhelming his body and his first initial action and response is to hit something out of frustration and lash out to try to cope with it. But he seems like a lunatic when not under the mask properly

I doubt it, Bale's stunt double labeled a picture of them at [BLACKOUT]City Hall: "walking Bale through the final fight sequence".[/BLACKOUT]

I believe there would be something more after [BLACKOUT]Tatelia gets taken out inside the HEMTT[/BLACKOUT], but it'll probably be something like the device being on some sort of irreversible countdown.

About the discussion on the other page, I think Catwoman killing Bane against Batman's wishes would work well with the story. When the frantic scenes are over and they reflect, Selina can say it was something she just had to do. And Bruce - having set out to kill Chill with a gun, understands where she's coming from.

I think the pain is hitting him and he's lashing out.

looks like blood prob from batman landing blows then a precise one on the mask and bane takes a 5 because he is in pain and lashes out that batman got the best of him

In the gig,I just noticed his mask is broken...But when he punches the wall, looks to me more like he's punching the wall and about to grab something...maybe that piller already has a pre-existing hole, and hidden..more of Banes anesthetic just in case something like that(broken mask)ever did happen..I dunno but it looks like he's about to grab something.

He might be punching the wall afterwards, when Talia escapes with the "doomsday device". Hes lashing out on the pillar since his plans have gone completely haywire.

I don't think it's stupid as much as it is rage. Everybody handles pain differently. I, for instance, punch inanimate objects (walls, doors, refrigerators, tables, etc).

Morgan Freeman is going to be on Craig Ferguson tonight, if any are interested.

I thought at first it might be the pain, but if we was fighting Batman, would he just lash out at him? Thats why my guess its after the fight when Talia leaves with the mercs tumblers and his device. He no longer has any control of his plan.

Sweet.

Too bad I have to work tomorrow morning. Perhaps someone will have a recap of his appearance if anything of importance is mentioned.

I think Bane is simply going into berserker mode. No anesthetic, and he's lashing out.

Either way it's crazy strong to punch through a pillar, I think it's gonna show how much danger Batman is in again if he isn't careful and patient this time around.
