I would say the masked ball, Bruce/Selina moment is either the first or second time they meet, also its before the "storm" against the rich, so Bruce pretty much definately gets messed up by someone/something towards the start or middle of the film.

What do you consider "directly"? He shot and killed bank manager, and the bus driver thug.

Not including the hits he put out on all the other goons.

He killed two of Gambol's men with knives, and Gambol himself ... that's five.

He killed Brian Douglas with a knife, two more police officers (Patrick Harvey, and Richard Dent), he shot a GPD officer in the face with a shotty ...

He shoots random civilians in their cars (won't count as deaths) ...

He puts a bomb in a fat guy that blows up ... the running count so far is at 10.

Not including I guess "indirect" kills which were contract hits, poison, or explosions?

I think that Bane, Tate and maybe Gordon will find put Bruces identity but I dont think all of gotham will know, but thats just me.
