Well yeah, but still, that's beyond stupid. And it pains me that there is someone out there listening to him and will decide against seeing the film.

Limbaugh owes this film's box office 10 bucks. Or he could just never talk again. I'll take either.
Well look, I'm a Conservative (please don't throw tomatoes), and I usually don't listen to a single thing Limbaugh says. There are those of us who ignore him.

That's the point of Nolan. He can be the outcast. He can make the choice, that no one else can make...the right choice.

No political talk, everyone has their own views. Limbaugh is scum though. That's just a fact.

Back on topic however, I just watched Batman Begins...and damn I'm ready for Thursday.

Rush Limbaugh thinks that Bane is a thinly veiled analog of Bain Capital and, therefore, a Leftist attack on Romney. Because Nolan knew this would happen. Three years ago.

...yeah.

Rush did NOT say he believes this. It originated from some liberal.

He was repeating what he heard/read, but of course it got turned around to be coming from his mouth.

Here's a quote from the actual article on it, the one Rush was citing.

The final film in director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, “The Dark Knight Rises,” won’t even open in theaters for a few more days, but attempts are already being made by liberals to politicize it. Bizarrely, these efforts are based entirely on the sound of the villain’s name. In the new film, Batman will face off against a hulking terrorist named Bane, whose name sounds similar to the name of the venture capital firm Mitt Romney used to work for.

Yeah, that’s it. They’re excited about the sound of the villain’s name.
Lest you think I’m exaggerating, here’s Democrat advisor Chris Lehane:

“It has been observed that movies can reflect the national mood. Whether it is spelled Bain and being put out by the Obama campaign or Bane and being out by Hollywood, the narratives are similar: a highly intelligent villain with offshore interests and a past both are seeking to cover up who had a powerful father and is set on pillaging society.”

There is nothing wrong with being a republican. Regardless of which party you side with these people need to think before they speak.

I just meant that I don't think his so called opinion will hurt this movie.

It's like they think Nolan just made up Bane by himself. The characters been around forever, probably before Romney was even born!

Listen to the Youtube...

Nothing got turned around on him. Sorry.

A minority group of critics think TDKR had a weak or messy story, but majority of the critics thought the story was well or brilliantly written. I'm guessing there's bits and pieces that the those critics did not enjoy -- likely the Batman Begins flashbacks.

Absolutely.

And I won't say anything about this.

The Dark Knight Rises is bias against weird mask-wearing Americans. How dare they be portrayed with so much evil intent.

Nolan also uses fragmentation to tell stories, he'll reveal someone's past in bits and pieces. Some critics may think that's confusing, especially with such an epic story full of so many deep characters. Not every critic knows the story or characters as well as we do.

Berardinelli gives it 3.5/4: http://www.reelviews.net/php_review_template.php?identifier=2493

A little disappointed, but just a tiny bit.

So Berardinelli, Honeycutt, Chang loved TDK more (all gave 10 ) fits with the RT's statement :csad: ok at least it's getting called THE best superhero trilogy of all time. I hope Roger Ebert ,Micheal Phillips, Claudia Puig doesn't follow suit and give it a 3.5/4. I want a 4/4 damn it.:cmad: so that metacritic rating can go up. It's now on 80 down from 82.

Exactly. Stupidity is not exclusive to a single political party.

However, Limbaugh is a jackass.

I know what you mean.

I just want this damned RT score to get to at least a 92 :argh:

Berardinelli's review isn't on MC yet, so it will go up a little bit.
