So basically, it's mostly on par with Knight.

It's just as close to BB as it is TDK. Looks like it's split.

TDK: 45-5
TDKR: 43-7

To me its 43 fresh 6 rotten. I refuse to count that Daily Mail one.

The story makes you emotional... you can't say its emotional but the story is a mess they go hand in hand.

And really many of TDKs rotten reviews came in well later. I believe it was up around 97 pretty late in the game. Some reviews in there are from the last year or two calling it overrated.

Lemire has the right to her opinion but her choice of words did not sit well with me (out of most negative reviews). Lemire's article is well-written but my criticism of her Bane-Joker comparison is just that. It's not a dig, nor am I seeking to devalue her review. So knock it off. I don't care how many times you read the review and I certainly don't care if you respect her. There are plenty of people who respect Devin too -- I don't (to me, he's a hack and a bully).

If you don't like my criticism regarding her criticism, then tough. Move on.

In the end, I would like it to be in the 90s, I would like it to kill at the B.O., but all that matters is whether or not WE enjoy the film...right?

Could you all live with a score in the 70s and it finishing second to The Avengers? Will that make it any less of a triumph?

He's always seemed to me as very pretentious and full of himself. He came into this film with a pre-conceived notion of how he was going to rate it, so his word means nothing to me.
