I don't appreciate all these users making fun of me.

Then stop posting in hysterics about the RT score. Or trolling pretend hysterics about the RT score, which this is really starting to look like.

Since when is 2.5/4 a negative review?

Personally, I think of anything 3/4, 7/10, B-/A a positive review. Anything below that I see as negative, but that's just me. Guess I don't spend enough time on Rotten Tomatoes to notice that 2.5 can be positive.

It's kinda coming off like you're having a panic attack, bud. It's just a movie and reviews mean so very very little in the grand scheme of things. The general consensus is that TDKR is good, maybe even great. SOOOO my advice to you is to take it down a notch, and at 12:01am on Friday, sit back and enjoy the ride. It's just a movie. It's just a movie.

I waited 4 years for this movie I want better than "good".

However it seems everyone is continuing to mock me and the mods aren't really caring..so I'm just gonna leave for a little bit. Peace

Has Brad Wheeler's (The Globe And Mail) review been posted yet?

I love Memento (outstanding film) but The Prestige kicks its ass. :woot:
Very much so.

And yet the RT rating calls it a spectacular conclusion.

Buh bye troll.

I get the impression Nolan tried to merge two movies into one.

What I like about Phillips' review is that he said if you enjoyed BB/TDK, you will probably enjoy this one. That's good to hear, especially from someone who admittedly did not enjoy it as much as TDK. I still say Berardinelli and McWeeny have probably given us the best insight into the film's quality from a nerd perspective. If they say it's a great conclusion to the trilogy, then I'm inclined to believe them given their credibility on other nerd properties.

And the best film that Christopher Nolan ever made is still Memento. IMHO

Agreed! the dude is a master of filmography, but that movie is a masterpiece in my eyes. :hrt: (would never diss his others though, I love almost every movie I've seen by him and sounds like TDKR won't be any different.)

It varies. There are plenty of critics calling TDKR not only the best of the trilogy but the best film of 2012 and/or greatest CBM of all time. I'd watch the film before proclaiming anything disappointing.

Ledger was Nolan's most illustrious asset? Jeez, thanks for insulting Bale, Hardy, Oldman, Eckhart, Freeman, Jackman, Neeson, Cotillard, Hathaway, Caine, JGL, Hall, Pierce, DiCaprio, etc.

Are you being purposely obtuse? I'm talking about with reference to the Bat-verse. Oldman is perhaps my favorite screen actor, but what Ledger did with the Joker trumps his Gordon. I'm not saying Ledger is the best general actor in the cast, but rather that he had by far the best character and performance in the two films, so likely the most potential in any future role.

It's just a movie man, but if you gotta scoot, maybe it's all for the best. Enjoy the movie on Friday.

I agree. The nearest he has come to greatness. Much as I love his work, I feel about him the same way I do about Pearl Jam (stick with it). One truly great work (Vs) and a lot of good albums with some outstanding songs and some real forgettable filler. There isn't a Nolan movie that isn't flawed, but man when he hits the mark, he hits the mark. But needs to get leaner.

+1,000,000.
