Not that I know of, but I only own the 1 Disc DVD, not 2-Disc BluRays. If they feel like including it. But have the ones from before included cut scenes?

Yea, I think TDKR was a better conclusion that ROTJ. But I did not think ROTJ was laughable bad. It was still enjoyable. But I watched it on DVD when they did some reworks.I don't because TDKR was still pretty good, but ROTJ was laughably bad.
Haha, you really think it's horrible? You didn't at least enjoy the Vader/Luke/Emperor stuff?

Yea, but who knows. This is their last one. Adding cut scenes might be a way for them to make more money before their Dark Knight franchise is over. They'll probably stay in form and do (or not do) what they did with cut scenes/footage with the last ones. I have the TDK BluRay somewhere, but I don't remember if they did.
Me too. What could have been... *sigh* But I still appreciate the scenes for what they were. That is the best part of ROTJ, but what was originally planned was even better. Originally, Vader was going to defy the emperor and bring Luke to the Executor and not the Death Star II, and it was really going to explore the angle of Vader wanting Luke to join him and destroy the Emperor. Sadly that was scrapped, and as it stands the whole "Join me and together we will rule the galexy as father and son!" thing discussed in ESB is never explored in ROTJ. I would've loved to have seen that play out.

I could not agree more. It is only going to happen if WB steps in, which is very possible. Nolan and everyone else would just leave it the way it is.If I had to bet, I wouldn't think the filmmakers would make/allow a 'special case', if they have any say in the matter. If WB steps in and makes it happen to capitalize more (like with 'directors/extended cuts'), that's one thing. Maybe when they go for the big double-dip extra-special-colloectors-box-set-thingy, they'l do it for all the movies.
But I have a feeling that Nolan being the kind of filmmaker he is might be opposed to it in principle. But you never know.
hey guys, did not know where to put this but i made a journey trailer for TDKR

Hahaha, I tried going that for X-Men 3, Spider-Man 3, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I did not work.Seriously, I thought it was atrocious from the first time I saw it. It was one of the earliest realizations for me that sometimes these things can just go rotten...and it kind of prepared me to not be as surprised when they did with other movies, and accept that they were bad instead of trying to convince myself they weren't.

when Bane has the speech infront of blackgate prison. is the building behind him the same building like in the final fight with the police?

Well, TDKR had a LOT to live up to...moreso than perhaps it was fair to hold it against. Also, following TDK and Inception, I think some of us were expecting this to me more mind-bending or what have you in its complexity, when it was really a 'simpler' (for lack of a better term) story of redemption that was perhaps a bit too tightly-packed for its own good. We were naturally expecting mindblowing, and we got only 'very good'...which shod normally be heartily applauded, but can feel a bit underwhelming if you're expecting something biblical.
I also personally feel I should have insulated myself more from spoilers and so much speculation, as some things just weren't as impactfully surprising as they should have been...like his first Bat flight and others. I still feel this was the weakest of the three, but not by a whole lot. And because the bar was set so high, it's only natural to feel more disappointed....maybe moreso than it really deserves.
I give it a 7.5/10 as just a movie, but in a lot of ways it deserves higher for being the sendoff of an extraordinary achievement as a trilogy. This movie does its job very well, plain and simple....when it could have easily been a REAL letdown. It's definitely something that's rewatchable, and probably a lot more fun if you take away the 'critic hat' and just let it play, rather than holding it up against TDK.
I love both...
But I'd give the edge to the bank heist. It's a little more intimate leading up to a better reveal for the villian.
