John Blake's Brow

Blake just knew that Joker was his old high school buddy.

I'd also love a JGL film. It's practically a clean slate for a comic book film. They can do whatever thay want with Blake.

That might work but only if there's some sort of a cameo by Bruce Wayne. Blake needing guidance, info or something. I'm not really fond of the idea about a Batman movie without Bruce Wayne. I think that the true beauty of Blake becoming the new Batman is that this idea should never be explored. Just shove Bruce Wayne somewhere between BB and TDK and tell another story of him, that might work for me... idk.

I was one of the 5 or so people on here that was heavily supporting the idea of Blake turning out to be Robin and donning the mantel but I don't want any sort of unnecessarily tacky spin off.

The ending with Blake serves best as what it is and that's a conclusion to one of the goals Wayne set out to accomplish in Begins.

No John Blake, Selina Kyle, Joker's/Chechen's Rottweilers, Bane's winter jacket, Batpod, spin off/sequels/prequels bologna directed/written by another group of people.

The Nolan series is over and now we'll be getting another take on Batman from a different creative team.

A digital comic is fine. Just no actual movies.

I want a new take from a different mind on Batman for the films.

[Didio on John Blake] The character appeared to be an amalgam of all of Batman’s Robins: Dick Grayson’s courage and skill (Nightwing), Jason Todd’s passion (Red Hood), Tim Drake’s detectice skills (Red Robin), and Damian Wayne’s impulsiveness (Robin).

Didio got it right imo.

I would actually read a comic based on Blake. That actually sounds like a good idea  I'm honestly truly shocked they're not trying to squeeze another movie out of this. Thank god.

Maybe they are waiting for after the Blu Ray DVD is released to talk about a Batman 4?? I just know that seeing a Batman in a Justice League movie first is going to suck, and when the JL Batman starts his own solo films who will be the villian knowing that there is a Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash in his universe??

I'd be interested. Especially if they managed to get Bruce (and Selina of course) in there with training/imparting skills.

I think people are overestimating the appeal of a stand alone Blake film. With the recent B.O. flops and with Nolan (and Bale) not coming back, that's too risky. From a money perspective, it makes more sense for a completely new Batman series.

I have very little interest in seeing live action Blake. Very little. And I can't see such a movie getting off the ground, it's going to be a reboot. Though as said I'd be fine with a comic continuation.

Well we are going to be getting a Batman from the JL, and I believe it'll be a Batman that everyone will be complaining about. I think WB is in a no win situation with Batman and should wait till 2020 to reboot!

Hey guys, I just heard the last Kevin Smith's Fatman on Batman podcast and he said that he read in a Batman website an article about the elements of TDKR that came from specific comics, the problem is that he didn't remember which website. Do you guys know which one he was talking about?
