Does anybody have any idea where the restaraunt in Florence was? If it really even was in Florence? I'm going there in April and I thought it'd be cool to stop there.

University of Greenwich (London)

And that would be half the charm of exploring that concept.

Building a friendship with someone you don't even know, and might not fully trust.

It was explored.

''Can we trust him?''

Batman proving over and over that he was there to do good. Gordon saving Batman. The list goes on. Gordon was unsure of him at the beginning. Bruce new Gordon was a good man all along.

Really...I don't need them to hang out and talk about random stuff to know they have a friendship.

YeahThe Guard I dunno what much else you really wanted. Was fine the way it was portrayed In the trilogy.

"Hey Jim, you want to go and get a large fresh orange juice after we're down lightly irradiating these bills?"

Yeah, I don't need a shwarma date to prove anything :funny:

"Hey, Gordon. Have you ever tried falafel? There's a falafel stand in the Narrows near where I interrogated Flass. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it."

For those who played Arkham City, didn't the sniping scene in TDKR remind you a lot of the game?

Hahahaha, Warner Brothers trying to get Nolan to be their version of Whedon. Lovely.

That whole 'anyone can be a hero' moment at the end nearly finished me. I've seen it 3 times now and I still have something caught in my eye in that scene.
Batman's "hint" was a little longwinded for me the first time, but still! :hrt:

And...my boss is a fairly hands-off boss with strict boundaries between work and personal life, and we try not to get too gossipy. "How was your weekend?" is about as far as I take it. But it's really, really obvious he cares about us and our well-being. You don't need to get all bro-y on someone to care about them.

Anyone else like the subtle tweaks to the suit? Like the neck area being noticeably thicker this time around or was that just bale?

I chocked up most of the difference that I noticed to lighting, as this movie has more of an opalescent/white lighting on the suit compared to the Dark Knight's bluer highlights.

Most of the difference I'm noticing is near the top around the shoulders and above the chest.

I'm not sure what it was, but the suit looked better in TDKR than TDK. Or maybe I just like the way it was lit and used more. It's strange that I can't explain it yet. Maybe when I have the blu-ray I'll do some side-by-side comparisons. I didn't do any with the trailers.

It was lit much better. Batman's lighting in TDK was hit or miss. Sometimes he looked great, but other times he looked terrible. It was consistently awesome in TDKR.

I think that the suit looked better as Bale was in a better shape and that cape was bigger this time.

I'll still never understand why Nolan decided to have the cape over one of Batman's shoulders like a toga in the TDK interrogation. It looked so silly.

I think it was to show that he was the Avatar, from the East. The Chosen One.

I have no idea, but I mentioned this before. The neck of the suit did look a lot more thicker to me too.

Ok, so my friend has been stating and specualting since Begins that that is not Bale in the costume. Can anyone actually confirm or deny this. I mean sometimes I watch as well and think I mean it doesn't look like him? I know that's the point but do the facial structures line up?

In closeups, it's obviously Bale. He has the same lips (lisp :funny: ) and teeth.

IIRC Bale did most of his own stunts in the suit, but there's no requirement that it has to be Bale in the suit all the time. There are stunt doubles for that...

Buster did his stunts in BB and TDK, but I haven't ever noticed it being him. It always clearly seems to be Bale, apart from maybe a couple of Batpod shots, I think.
