I think Army Hammer (what a name) would be a terrific Batman once he matures a bit more to his thirties. He is a bit too young presently, but the potential is absolutely there, just as it was for Henry Cavil for all these years who also looks a better Superman now than when he first got noticed.

The funny thing is Arnie has been in the running since the JL: Mortal days, which was five years ago.

''Been in the running?''-Dude was cast as Batman already in 07.He deserves his shot imo.

agreed. i think he'd make a good batman, that's fairly in the early stage of his career. aka late 20s to mid 30s.

Armie Hammer, God I hope not.

A 26yo Batman? No Thanks, I don't want another origin story.

For any South Park fans Bane (or at least his mask) will be featured in tonight's episode!

"You should have respected my authoritehhh" in banes voice :lmao:

I would prefer to see Gosling as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

However, if WB's insist on keeping JL Batman separate from the rebooted Batman films, then I would rather see Hammer as JL Batman and Gosling as Batman in the reboot films.

My personal preferance would be for reboot Batman and JL Batman to be the same damn actor....but whatever. WB's wants to be weird like that.

I've become a pretty big fan of Ryan Gosling over the years, so I could definitely jump on board with him as the next Bruce/Batman.

Anyone else notice they edited the Bane mask since the preview? It must have been a copyright issue

This

I believe that Gosling has the tools to be a great Bruce Wayne AND Batman.

I wouldn't mind it but he wouldn't even be close on my list.

this is absolutely hilarious (especially if you've used the new apple maps)

Hello Everyone.

I saw someone raise a point on another thread that the Nolan Batman movies seem to bring waves of negativity with them from the fans, especially TDKR. Namely they were talking about the death threats to the critics over the bad reviews, and the Aurora shootings.

My point is has there ever been any other instances where some crazy fan killed anyone pretending to be a character from a movie? And have fans ever gone nuts and threatened critics before?

closest i can think of is John Hinckley Jr. He tried to assassinate Regan because he was obsessed with Jodi Foster in Taxi Driver and he saw himself as Travis Bickle. He ended up hearing her criticize the President over something on the radio one day and it set him off.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hinckley,_Jr.

How can you guys like Gosling as Batman? Bruce is a handsome guy, yes, but Ryan has some really feminine features, not to mention his high pitched voice. When I read the comics, I don't imagine Ryan, I imagine someone much more manly.

I'm not saying I hate Gosling, I'm a big fan, but he's wrong for Batman.

I wouldn't put that all on Nolan's Bat movies. The Aurora shooter clearly had issues well before shooting up that theater.

The Avengers first negative review, from a female critic, received waves of crazy responses from fans. Very ugly and disrespectful things.
