It's strange. At one end of the spectrum, you gotta respect the man for loving his craft and taking it so seriously, but on the other end...you hope Bale stops doing that whole weight loss/weight gain shtick because he's only going to make it worse in the long run of things.

Did you guys see the trailer for "We're The Millers"? Jason Sudekis does a good Bane impression. :hehe:

Jennifer Aniston....

*drools a river*

She's lost a little bit of her spark for me... The last few seasons of F.R.I.E.N.D.S was her at her hottest. Something has happened to her face lately (puffier?)

Still love her as an actress though.

I have never understood people who prefer her to A. Jolie. It's a great thing that people have such diametrically irreconcilable tastes.

She was hot in Terrible Bosses.

Question for all bat fans on this site, in the bonus feature the journey of Bruce Wayne, jonah Nolan, goyer, and others are talking about Bruce's rediscovering his will to live while he is in the pit. Just that he wants to live to save Gotham, his parents legacy. Why couldn't they say he survived the blast? And he wanted to live after he stopped the leagues plan? Is it just me that seems like they want fans to always question this? And I understood the clues etc, but it's like Nolan's team wants a small bit of ambiguity regarding Bruce in the end.

That's such a flawed idea, that you should really only consider films that came out around the 2000's and above.

Why do you say that?

Superman: The Movie got really high for being a film that was released decades ago.

Because all of those sites only started putting up reviews in the 2000s for movies that came out in the 70s-90s. It's much easier to pick apart an older film, and give it a lower score compared to what movies are like today. Also, the reviews for the older films in their actual time period were much better than what someone from 2013 is going to say about a movie that was released in 1995, but of course, those sites don't count any reviews from anything earlier than 2000. It's an inaccurate way of looking at things. It already gives a huge advantage to current movies.

As for Superman, sure, there will probably be exceptions to the rule, but overall, it's a very inaccurate way of looking at things. Again, it should really only accept movies that came out in 2000 and above to be more accurate. I mean, I'm going back right now, and reading reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, and some films are getting bad scores cause the reviewers said things like "the special effects don't look as good as I remember them". Well of course they don't, cause they're basing their opinion on what the current generation of movies looks like.

If it's easier to pick apart older films, then it should be as fair as when someone picks apart a newer film. I find the list interesting and while I don't agree with everything, I just find it interesting nonetheless.

You completely missed Trav's point there.

Oh, I understood it alright; just firmly disagree with it.

But thanks for caring.

You should at least try to engage with it, then. Try to deal with the points that he has raised, rather than those which you would have preferred him to have raised.

Akira at 76%? Mask of the Phantasm at 72%? The first TMNT at 55%?

That list is a disgrace :argh:.

He said what he said and that's cool, but I didn't want to debate on the subject any longer. If you'd like, you can talk to Trav about it :o

Such a flawed list....Batman & Robin should be way higher. :o

Heh, I had a feeling you were going to say that, Kane. :hehe:
