Yeah, some are definitely reaching. I always loved the Long Halloween reference with Batman, Gordon, and Dent on the rooftop. Such a simple homage.

To this day I'm still shocked we actually got Bane breaking Batman's back over his knee straight up from the comics. I really did not think Nolan was going to literally illustrate it just like the comics.

Well the back breaking is like the event that defined Bane's status as a villain, so it would be a big loss to exclude it.

I thought you wrote "overeating". Fat JGL would be an incredible thing to witness.

Blake is mad because Foley likes the DWP guy more than him.

For sure. I remember everyone speculating the beat down would end with Bane just smashing Batman's cowl or him stomping his face, thus breaking the cowl.

I just didn't think Nolan would actually have Bane lift Bats over his shoulders and break him over his knee. I still cringe a little whenever I watch that scene. So much dread and emotion from Bale's performance there too.

I love that scene in BB I agree that is pure Batman.

I love that scene so much. The music is fantastic (later shows up as Imagine the Fire in TDKR).

I agree. Bale was at his absolute best as ''BATMAN'' in Batman Begins.

I still think the best Batman scene is the Prewitt building scene in TDK. That is the best Batman has ever been in all of the movies.

"I gotta get me one of those" I always say that when I want something. lol

Even though the trilogy as a whole has tons of great Batman moments, I gotta agree with Mr. J here. So much is going on in that scene and Batman handles it like a boss. He's straight up clinical in this scene.

I don't know, there were a few other really great Batman moments in the other films.

Even though the fight choreography at the end probably ruins the scene for a lot of people, the Hong Kong sequence was also very textbook Batman. The way he times the detonation of the side of building and literally swoops in and swoops out with Lau was fantastic.

I still think that scene is very underrated.
