Oh noes, Catwoman who has always since her original appearance used sexuality as a weapon does that very thing in Batman Returns! Lawdy me its affected my dainty disposition!

Not to mention some of her attack moves involved her kissing thugs before she took them down.

Yea. Definitely the most erroneous misuse of Catwoman's sexuality. She would never do that.

I mean, who knows where those mouths have been. They were probably brushed last week.

Actually she didn't. In her first appearance she spent the bulk of the story dressed up as an old lady. When she was revealed at the end as a beautiful (costume-less) thief called The Cat, she didn't use her sexuality as a weapon.

Yeah it was pretty gross lol. She had no standards.

Have you played Arkham City? Every single word that came out of her mouth was an innuendo. Definitely the most sexually expressive catwoman ever.

Glad they eliminated it in Knight. She is tolerable in that game. Not to mention she looks a lot better.

Worse are the puns every other line...

Most of the dialogue in the Arkham games is badly written. I usually just skip as much of it as I can.

Even this one? :o

Yes. I don't have to like it. You don't have to like it. But no one sets out to make a bad movie and for better or worse the team behind Catwoman went for something different and the chances are somebody out there appreciates it.

It's not a valid interpretation of Selina Kyle because it's Patience Philips, but it is another version of Catwoman and it's valid in it's own right.

I still want to think Batman died in this movie, and Alfred seeing Bruce near the end of the film is just him imagining things to compensate the loss of a family member.

She walks and talks like a hooker in that game.
I feel strange saying this; Frank Miller did not make her the walking sex doll she is in Arkham City.

What's a tragedy is that film was originally going to be a Pfieffer Catwoman spinoff. Wouldn't a Pfieffer spinoff have been amazing? Such a waste.

I don't agree. Just like someone can set out to not fail at something, but end up failing anyway, doesn't make the fact they failed any less a failure. The minds behind the Catwoman spin off may have had good intentions, you know what they say the road to hell is paved with, and never intended it for to be as bad it was, but that's how it turned out.

It's an interpretation of Catwoman certainly, but to call it a valid one is as much of a stretch as saying Schumacher's Bane is valid.

But you're right about people out there appreciating it. Or at the very least liking it in some way. It has over two hundred thousand likes on Facebook; https://www.facebook.com/pages/Catwoman/107623375927221?fref=ts

Alfred even want as far as to break into MCU to fix the batsignal and learn aeronautics to fix the Bat's AI.

And if they appreciate it, their taste is garbage. Yeah, i said it. It's a terrible film. Poorly made in every way, i dont need to tell you that. And it was made strictly for money without any thought put into it. Im not an a-Hole if i say it's a s**t movie and people have crap taste for liking it. That's just how everyone is in real life, we all say stuff like this. And it's more than okay because that movie was pure trash.

This whole valid thing is so hilarious and kiss-ass.

Just because one thousand people may like the movie, doesn't mean their taste isn't garbage. There's art, then there's trash. If 10 000 people came out and said they agreed with Hitler, does that mean their opinion is valid? No, they're ignorant idiots.

Im also at a point where i dont care what people think of the things i love. Milost can return for all i care. Hate Rises, hate whatever you want, i can't care less than i do right now. That goes for critics bashing something i dig. Be my guest! Ill like what i like and dislike what i want, that's all that matters to me. And screw the Halle Catwoman and Shumacher as Bane is valid horses**t. So is my future Riddler interpretation where he wears a strap-on and sucks his thumb, hiding in his bedroom. See that would be valid too right if i put it on screen? Ummm, no.

Then say it... you think 'they'' have **** taste and ''they'' think you have **** taste.

You're more than welcome to your opinion Shauner, but it's always better to save your energy and ignore that which you don't agree with or dispute it in a more courteous manner.

If somebody like Halle's Catwoman, then I think more power to them. I think it's an awful film, but if I cared enough I'd simply ask the person why they like it and see if I can shift my own perspective to understand their point of view.

I hate Catwoman (04). Because I pleasured myself to it quite a few times. And I've dreadfully come to learn that Halle's stunt double was a man.

Just remember though....you are speaking about some nameless group on facebook....say that about someone's opinion on here, and you will be infracted. You do not have to like or agree with someone's opinion...but you will not be rude to them about it on here.
This whole valid thing is so hilarious and kiss-ass..
Opinions....everyone has them....everyone does not have to share them.

Someone having an opinion that you don't agree with does not automatically make them ignorant fools. Remember that while posting here at the Hype.

Why should i save my energy? Is it because it's not a super nice comment? Do i have to add a little ending to my sentence, each time i say something, like "but it's still their opinion so i can respect that, it's valid enough". That's not something i agree with. If i feel like someone is being ignorant or if their taste is crap because the actual movie is horrendously made and s**ts all over the character just to sell a few tickets, then yeaaah i shouldn't be afraid to express that around here. This forum should be called SugarCoating.

I dont need anyone to agree with me, by the way. I feel fine expressing an opinion without people giving me a pat on the back.

I dont care enough to ask a person why they like that horrible Catwoman movie. If they like it, that tells me everything i need to know.

I know someone who got his first ******* during Batman and Robin. It's valid to like the film on that alone. If we followed your train of thought we would be making assumptions on his film taste.

Did we really need to know these things lol? Though your friend's ******* story doesn't sound like it had anything to do with the actual quality of B&R. Unless he and the person blowing him were sexually aroused by it...

Did i? No.

Why not? I thought this wasn't Hitler territory right? Why can't someone share their opinion? Im not saying it's right to call someone a ****e, or be insanely rude about it. But i should have the right to say that a post or a gif is ignorant, which could lead to a realistic discussion. Or if i think their taste isn't that great because a film that they like has no redeeming qualities, the fact that we to sugarcoat it or bite our tongue is quite ridiculous. Again, all of this can be said without insulting their culture or whatever, it can be civil and strictly about their taste in movies. It really isn't the end of the world if two people disagree on their taste in movies.

I agree, it doesn't automatically make them ignorant fools because they have a different opinion. If you read my posts, i said clearly that Olsen can love Pfeiffer's Catwoman. But to say that she's the only one and it shouldn't be remade, even though Pfeiffer wasn't the first and wasn't that accurate.....yeaaah...it's a bit ignorant. That's my view of it. It's a gif, she's not on this forum, she's a celeb with thick skin, i can say that it's a ignorant comment cuz it wasnt JUST about "ohh i like this, she's my favorite". I have no problem with someone liking something. I even like Pfeiffer in that movie.

If someone thinks im ignorant for saying something, or i have bad taste in movies, i should be able to respond and defend my view or taste. Vice versa. This is what i mean by this forum being run by people who dont let people breathe.

Well Shauner said he wouldn't care what the reason is, if somebody likes a reviled movie, he will make assumptions on his/her taste. My point is that somebody could like a movie for any reason really. Maybe he/she had a treasured experience as a result of the movie and that's why he/she likes it.

I see. But you have to admit a reason like that doesn't say anything about the actual movie. When someone says they like something because they have treasured memories of watching it growing up or what ever, it might be nostalgia, but at least that's a reason based on them actually watching it and enjoying it.

Liking it just because it was playing in the theater where you got your first bj..... a bit difficult to take seriously as a reason for liking a movie lol.

But getting a BJ in a theater, literally has NOTHING to do with the movie and why they like the film, the story, the characters.

But we would never know that if we used Shauner's mode of instant dismissal. We would assume he loves B&R because he has crap taste in movies. Not because he was getting his knob shined. Maybe the movie itself he wouldn't care for if saw it without distraction, divorced from fond memories. And based on his like and dislike of other flicks, he has decent taste.

But getting a BJ in a theater, literally has NOTHING to do with the movie and why they like the film, the story, the characters.

Yea. But you did say "I dont care enough to ask a person why they like that horrible Catwoman movie. If they like it, that tells me everything i need to know". So you do not leave enough room for an explanation.
