Has this character appeared in the Ultimate comic books? If not, how will you 'Ultimatize' him or her?: Following the cut-off, Janet's character in the Ultimate Universe was established in Ultimates.
Is the character a hero, a villain, or walking the line?: Member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Superhuman task force known as the Ultimates. Hero.
The big question - Why this character?: She's always been a favorite of mine, and considerably underused.
Brief background information of the character: Janet Pym, portrayed as Asian in this universe, holds two PhDs (one we know to be in molecular biology) and is a mutant who has done her best to keep her secret hidden from the public. After joining Nick Fury's Ultimates, Janet has become a celebrity after famously fighting in the battle against the Hulk during his New York massacre, eventually taking him down with one of her signature Wasp Stings. Recently, after a situation of domestic violence by her husband Hank Pym (Giant Man), she was hospitalized and recovering in the Triskelion during the Chitauri incident. Luckily her size-changing powers helped her to escape the secretly Chitauri hospital staff. After the Ultimates defeated the Chitauri invasion, she and Steve Rogers (Captain America) slowly became romantically involved.
Powers, abilities, and noteworthy equipment: She can generate a glittering wasp-like sting which she discharges through her hands. Her bio-electric blast famously took out the Hulk during his New York massacre. Side-effects of her insectoid genetics include the occasional consumption of bugs, forming her own larval nests, and laying egg-like constructs.
What can you bring to this game?: The Wasp in action!
What color and font would your character use? (Please fully type the font out): The Wasp - System
How many times per week do you plan on posting?: At least once.
Do you know how to post pictures on the Hype! boards: Yes I do.
Provide a small sample post for your character, about 4 paragraphs with at least one line of dialog:
"Giant Monsters, alien spaceships. What's next for America's super team Mrs. Pym."
Janet Pym gracefully sipped her glass of water before gently placing it on the coffee table before her.
"Please call me Janet." She smiled as she crossed her legs and casually folded her hands upon her lap.
"Well I suppose that's better than calling you Mrs. Wasp." the host laughed as she reached to pat Janet's knee.
The audience burst into laughter before cutting off on a cue.
"So how much are you paying the guy who comes up with these names?"
Janet leaned forward as she laughed before reclining back again.
The studio audience laughed and came to another stop.
"To answer your first question, the Ultimates have proven to be well worth the investment to America, and I can guess that there'll be a lot more in store for us. And I certainly hope I'm making more than the official team-namer, I mean come on, IRON man, Captain AMERICA , calling someone who can shrink and has wings, the WASP."
The two women immediately burst into another fit of laughter as the audience roared in the background.
All the while Janet Pym wished she could be feeling on the inside what she was expressing on national television.

The big question - Why this character?: I like him?
Brief background information of the character: Son of the mutant terrorist Magneto, Peitro and his sister Wanda were once apart of his mutant 'brotherhood' but defected to join the Ultimates because they wanted to be 'teh goodies'.
Powers, abilities, and noteworthy equipment: Super-speed, super-incest.
What can you bring to this game?: An Ultimate and creepy incestual undertones.
What color and font would your character use? (Please fully type the font out): Arial narrow Light grey
How many times per week do you plan on posting?: Enough

Life is boringly slow...
I've often heard the phrase life is short, I respectfully disagree. It's mind numbingly slow and long.
I see people on the streets 'rushing' from day to day. On their phones yammering on about business and mergers as fast as their Homo Sapien mouths will go. I don't blame them of course, it's not their fault they're intolerably slow. Not like father. He blames anything and everything on the Humans.
Even in the Triskelion, arguably one of the busiest buildings in the world. People coming and going, backwards and forwards. So slow. I guess thats what happens when you can move faster than any other living thing on the earth.
Washington DC was once one of those places, like New York, that thought they were fast, fast enough to just keep working, just keep milling around and hope that things never caught up with them, as individuals, as a government.
They weren't fast enough. I was sat, resting my chin on my hand lazily, on a pile of rubble as the rest of the Ultimates hopelessly sift through it to find any hope of survivors. Pathetic really, there was no hope for the people that inhabited DC, they were dead before they knew anything was wrong.
That's speed I can respect.
