Spidey's gonna be getting his ass kicked until Harry shows up, loses his life for Peter's sake, and then Spidey will kick it into high gear and kick some symbiote ass.

As the title says it I want the Spider-Man / Venom fight to NOT be lackluster. If Avi Arad URGED Raimi to use Venom, I hope he took special care with the fight sequence.

I want this to be a Spider Vs. Spider match. I want to see them crawling on a building almost chasing eachother, or even on a giant web. I want to see them scrambling and fighting eachother as if two tarantuala's were fighting.

I want something spectacular. I want something that it deserves.

Better not happen. Sure Harry can/should die but if Spidey DOES beat him, then it should be by fluke. You heard me: He wins by fluke as in he puts fire (Perhaps accidently) to an oil refinery and escaped just in time while Venom gets caught in the huge explosion (Venom may survive for a sequel) or else Venom shouldn't get beaten up at all by Spidey and have Venom rough him up big time but leave him so that he can have more fun beating the crap out of Spider-Man another day....

I have no doubt that The Fight between Venom & Spidey is going to be SPECTACULAR . Come to think of it all the Spidey battles between the super villians he's face in the movie have been awesome .

I seriously doubt that the fight will be an entire 15 minutes. But one things for sure: Pete will get owned severely. He's not going to have anything to smirk or be a smart*** about during this fight scene!

I'm still a little skeptical as to whether or not Sandman is really going to be in the final scene or not (spidermanhero12, I know what the Q&A and script leak says). It just seems like if Sandman is really looking for redemption for killing Uncle Ben why would he be trying to kill Pete at the end of the movie?

Maybe Sandman steps in and is the original guy that tries to help Pete, but gets owned, or has to leave because of his daughter. Then we see Spidey and Venom duke it out a bit more before Harry arrives...

I don't know, for all of the information and spoilers that we've gotten so far, there are still many secrets out there that we wont know about until the book comes out probably...

The trailer pretty much confirms Sandman will be at the construction site since there's sand all over Spidey's costume. But yeah, I agree about him trying to help Spidey but at the very beginning I think that he helps Venom fight him. I mean the guy would be pretty p'd after he was almost killed. But I'm hoping that he turns on Venom which leads into Venom biting him, like in the comics.

that is not a bad idea having venom bite sandman like he did in the comics. maybe sandman is helping venom kick spideys butt and when sandmans daughter arrives at the construction site he sees her, starts crying, and turns on venoms side and i am suspecting that sandmans daughter asks sandman to please stop beating up spiderman. well that is what they said she will do in the script summary.

This was probably talked about already, but if you go back and look at the trailer there is a glimpse of MJ looking up at an unmasked Peter clearly distraught, if you look close she's holding a gloved hand (most likely Harry's)close to her chest. I'm sure this is the end of the Spidey / Venom / Harry Goblin fight because she's in the same clothes as in the webbed up taxi.

I'm sure this fight will be spectacular seeing as it's the climax of the movie.

I think the fight is going to be great. Besides the Spider-Man VS Venom and Sandman fight I'd also like to see Spider-Man and Venom fighting alone without Sandman for a while.

I also think it would be cool, when Brock gets MJ into the cab, if he would turn into Venom while driving...kinda like the TAS scene, you all know, when Brock turns into Venom while chasing Spidey in a truck

It won't be an all-out wall-crawling, web-swinging kind of battle if people think...it'll be around a construction site, so there will be some webbing (i.e. MJ in the taxi cab), but no spider-like fight going on...it'll just be a raging fight like anyother fight...but of course though, the more powerful Venom will make Spidey his biatch for a while in the battle royal, or whatever kind of battle people think it'll be.

I hope the fight between Venom and Spidey is gritty, violent, and intense as the final fight was with GG and Spidey was in the first film. That still ranks up as my favorite battle considering the emotion and the sheer intensity of it.
