The Wonder Woman Costume Thread - - Part 11

I quite like his logo, but it doesn't belong on WW's thigh.

You're our hero.

I'll tweak the image (colors, brightness, blur) later.

I make the reverse argument... she should use only her bracelets. But okay, a shield may be useful for blocking larger stuff :o
She can use it as a weapon... :o

She seems to have something of a bird theme/motif going on here. The eagle on her costume, the cloak/cape has a "feather-ish" design, etc. The Gods in The New 52 also have this, so perhaps he film is nodding to her mythological origins.

Also, I'm glad that they've apparently toned down the "red, white, and blue" elements. Never been a huge fan of that.
Eagle is sometimes related to Zeus :hmm
I am glad they got rid of white entirely and went for gold on her boots/greaves instead.
Me too

I love that suit :hubba

like in the real life statue at Warner Bros tours

Not sure if serious...

The gold part is perfect IMO

On the breastplate. But on the armband it looks a little off with the silver/worn off gold, and the belt and boots are what I'm worried about. If it's close to the way I did it on the png, then I'll be pretty satisfied. But if it's like the original image... :/

You need to take into consideration the lightning on the statue.. and that there's no hd complete suit of that statue.

Every time a fanboy "worries" about the colour of a detail on a superhero costume, somewhere in the third world gets hit by another earthquake.

They look so freaking good. Although are they concept art? Will we be getting a caped Wonder Woman at some point in the movie? :)

I did. But now with the promo pics, I see it might look like that. The golden on the lower parts seems darker, pale and... greenish (?) like on the statue pics.

I'm very concerned about how the gold will look in real life...

Polished metal on armor tends to look too perfect/pretty - as if the garment has never seen combat. On the other hand, brushed (dull) metal seem more “realistic” (not to mention less gaudy :word:).

Nepal is truly ****ed then.

We can, but we won't. :oldrazz:

Now seriously, if you're referring to bigger sword in concept art no.1, it doesn't mean anything. I also find the shield on the art to be bigger than the one we saw here:

Concept art is, as its name tells us - a concept art. They often differ from the final look. There are also different bracers and tiara there. I am actually wondering if that cloak made it in the film or not at this point.

I think it looks as it supposed to.. brushed gold as in use, but it made a bronze for me. I liked that detail.
