It's horrible. The older one that looked like the PS3 layout was much, much better. Not sure about the keyboard, as I've never used one.

Overall, I still prefer the 360 YT layout.

Yea I just took a look at it. Much better than the old design. The old design was pretty damn ugly. This one is a little more clean with all your subscriptions right in front of you. You don't have to click on any panels to get to your subs, they're all in front of you. And then to pull up the guide you just click the d pad left and the guide pops up. It's just a much better looking design over all. The only negative is it doesn't look like u can use smart glass as a keyboard, it makes you choose each letter in the search bar, so I'm not sure if keyboard support is still there

Your subscriptions aren't right in front of you, those are just recommended or recent videos from your existing subs, and even then, it's limited and random videos from their lists. To get to your subs, you have to hit X to pull up the guide, then scroll down till you find your subscriptions, and then slowly move over to the video within their list. Oh, and the action to go from video to video is MUCH slower, and you can't skip large chunks(3-4 videos at a time), you have to go from video to video. It takes FOREVER.

Yea I see what ur saying with the home page. The subs themselves, accessed from the guide or the home page, are organized much better than they were prior. Breaking the groups down into recent uploads, popular, playlists etc, is easier than how it used to be. Not sure what u mean by having to go from video to video, you just press down on the d pad and a list of videos(recent uploads and related) come up and you can choose which one u want. U don't have to view each one individually

With the old one, you could hit your bumper or "skip" button on a controller, and it would skip past about 6 videos instantaneously. So basically, you only had to hit a button around 8 times, instead of hitting it over 49.

This may be updated, though. They always randomly update YT apps.

hopefully, you can still use a USB keyboard. it's such a pain to have to key in one letter at a time.

however, with the Media Play app coming, I can just download the videos from Youtube on my computer and save them to a USB stick and watch it from there.

so, I'd probably have less a need for the dedicated Youtube app.

you'd think whoever designed the app would realize that keying in one letter at a time on that bar thing is so tedious..........

well, if/when the YT app comes to the PS4, I'll test it out with my USB keyboard.

but, again, once the consoles get a dedicated Media Player app, I'll have less need of a Youtube app.

Still not sure what you'd be typing into a youtube search bar that'd make you want to get up, grab your keyboard, plug it and then search. In the time it'd take you to do that, you could of already keyed in what you wanted.

Yea thats true. But no way Id get out of my seat, go grab my keyboard, plug it in to my console, then type that out, then go sit back down. But then again, im going all digital because I don't wanna walk the 5 ft to my console to change discs haha.

well, I'd probably already have the keyboard next to me if I knew I was going to use the YT app.

or while the YT app loads up, I'd get up, grab the keyboard, and sit back down.

Each territory has different regulations. Some markets cost a lot more (taxes, bribes, advertising, etc).

Since the Xbox One is region-free, it's a pretty popular import. There is already quite a gray market for it, or so I'm told by friends in South America.

In Brazil an Xbox One costs a 1000 dollars.

In Europe, everything is converted from dollars to Euros, when it comes to consoles. 400 Euro is about 530 dollars.

In the UK it's even worse. I don't miss UK prices.
