November 18: Grand Theft Auto V, Far Cry 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, WWE 2K15

I'll probably do MCC, ACU and SO with the Target deal. Getting GTAV and DA digitally. Those 5 should easily hold me over til February.

Part of me really wants to hold off til the week after to see if there's a similar deal so I can get Far Cry 4 instead of SO. FC4 just seems like a safer bet as for while I'd enjoy more.

If what everyone is saying about ACU being on sale for 35 on the 28th, I wouldn't do that.

Honestly, this deal just seems designed to sucker people into it before the better (or same) deal shows up the following weeks.

Otherwise they would have done it to where it covers all the games coming up after the 11th.

yeah.....I'm not sure I'll go for the Target deal with BF just a few weeks later. to get the equivalent of the B2G1 free deal, each $60 game would have to be on sale for $40 or less.

if I miss ( or pass on ) the BF deals, there will always be another inevitable B2G1 free deal before Xmas.

I don't normally go out on BF either. but if the deals extend through BF weekend, I'll shop then.

I prefer shopping at local stores......lol.

the only exception being Amazon.

but if a store's packed and crowded on BF......then forget about it. that's not worth it. and I'm definitely NOT going to freeze my ass off standing/camping out in line for many hours ( or days, I guess ).

although, last year, I went to my BB on Thanksgiving night and it was surprisingly calm and orderly. more crowded than usual, but still orderly.

I never understood that. Whenever I go into a Best Buy I am practically attacked by jackasses who want to sell me something. But then when I get something and I want to pay for it (a video game, a DVD, a Wii U) ... there is always only one guy at the check out register.

And even he seems more interested in registering some lady for something she doesn't need than actually taking the money.

God I love shopping online. And the best part is that it's actually cheaper.

yeah, that BB sale event on 11/8 where you get 12 mos Live free with an X1 console sounds like a great deal if you get one of the bundles.

$50 off + 1 or 2 free game codes + 12 mos Live free is essentially a BF type deal right there.

you can stack the Live subscriptions. so if you get the free 12 mos, you should be able to add it to your current sub.

For some reason I always love buying stuff on sale in busy crowded stores on Boxing Day (the Canadian black friday). I remember walking into a Best Buy Boxing Day 2012 and grabbing TASM and TDKR Blue Ray for like 10 bucks total, and a macbook for like 900 dollars. Felt pretty good walking out of there lol.

So tough, I have enough money for COD AW, TMCC, and possibly SO.

But AC Untiy and Farcry 4 will have to be on the back burner till possibly next month. Very tempted to squeeze GTA 5 in this month too. Geez, come on game publishers, release more games in October or September so I can properly budget myself lol.
