The Xbox One - Part 8

I think it's the best controller on the market. I legit have no problems.. I've never had issues with the complaints you spoke of. Also, the PS4 controller is made cheap.. My teacher inch pad clicks now.. I've never had such issues with a controller.

Yeah, it's easier to navigate and see your friends list now. I'll play around with it later. Hopefully they fixed some party issues I had, because the old one took an incredible amount of time to get 6-8 people in a party.
Great, will try out later.

Well, good for you, you probably have smaller hands than me. With my hands, the controller is incredibly uncomfortable. Having to press the bumpers here and there for items or throwing grenades is fine, but my hands will cramp with something like The Evil Within, where you have to hold the bumpers down for a long period of time. Same thing with the older/small 3DS. If I played MK7 for more than 30 min, my hands would cramp, but now that I have an XL, I have zero problems with that game.

And the build quality isn't that much better. My left trigger is totally messed up from Forza somehow, and my friend just sent his in under warranty, cause his left thumb stick just outright broke on him. But that's been an issue with these modern systems since PS2. Aside from Nintendo, these controllers just break sometimes.

I still don't see how that's possible. Do you have like 20 games?

If the average is 20-30 GB, that's a lot of games, considering how few titles are out.

bigger name titles tend to be in the 40-50gb range.

also, you don't have the full 500gb to use. more like 360gb.

so, say the average size is 30gb. that's about 10 games or so you can keep installed.

It's not just the games, but it could be map packs. COD:Ghosts is 42gb, and I had all the map packs, which were close to 6gb a piece(4 total). So that game alone is around 66gb.

Wait what? The OS takes more than 100 GB?

...maybe I should wait for 1 TB.

yeah. I think there's only like 360 or 380gb of available space.

on the PS4, it's like 408gb or something. so slightly more available space on the PS4.

right, that stuff adds up.

Iv got

Assassins Creed IV
Destiny
Killer Instinct
Forza Horizon 2
Madden 2015
NBA 2K15
Ryse
Shadow of Mordor
Amazing Spider-Man
Sniper Elite 3
Watchdogs
Battlefield 4
Titanfall
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeros
Metro 2033 Redux
Metro Last Light Redux
Thief

Iv got 20 gigs left and I actually had to remove a game or two in order to fit Shadow of Mordor

Damn. That's quite a library.

See, now that doesn't sound so bad.

Didn't realize there were two Metro Redux games.

Yea and it's only gonna get bigger in the next month.

There's a Metro Redux bundle that contains both the games for less than 59.99. Awesome deal as those two games are incredible.

Granted, but do you really play all those games?

Personally I rarely play more than a half dozen games at any one time.

I complete every single game I own. Now typically I'll play one or two at a time but during times when there's not a lot of new releases I'll jump around my catalog. I can play the same game 10 times through if I like it enough. And I'm one of those ppl that'll see Gladiator on TV then think, oh I want to play Ryse. That's why I rarely trade games in. I'll get these random urges to play some old games I have.

i also have EA Access which just added Plants vs Zombies GW. They also install on your HDD.

At 6 foot something or other.. My hands are pretty big. I've never had an issue with any controller besides the DS3, which is just pure poop.

Well, I guess it's good to hear that people who don't even know their own height, are also great judges of their hand size.

Amazing, makes me even more hyped for the game somehow, knowing it's going to pack a lot of content.

I picked up my Xbox One on September 30th, it was the kinectless version for 399.99 but the deal breaker for me was the special edition of Watchdogs, which is worth around a hundred dollars on it's own. The game itself seems alright, haven't really gotten into it yet, the free roam seems kinda fun.

So far I've picked up...

1. Watchdogs (bundled with console)
2. Battlefield 4 (bought it with the console)
3. Dead Rising 3
4. Call of Duty Ghosts
5. Forza 5

So far, I have to say that the Xbox One is better then the Playstation 4 due to the controller, the interface/app changing, the selection of games (MC Collection was one of the reasons I bought the console), and the fact I was just fresh off the xbox 360 boat.

Obviously the console is in it's early stages and we've yet to see it's 100% true potential, but already playing BF4 and Forza 5, I can assure that the Xbox One is a great console to own, and a pleasure to play.

It's also a great media player, I use it religiously for Netflix and Youtube on my 40 inch, so it's great device to have in a bedroom with a nice TV.

Overall, if you're a fan of Halo, Crackdown, Gears, Forza, and Fable then pick this system up.

I cannot wait for Battlefield: Hardline and MC Collection, I will be playing with all you hypsters day one for sure! Halo 3 Team Deathmatch on High Grounds, who's with me??? Let's relive some 2007 memories aha.

A 20gb update? What the hell are they updating?

They just played Destiny and remembered they need to include the campaign for Halo games.

Whoops, read that as Halo 5 rather than MCC. Would be really hard to forget to include those campaigns!
