but really, MS should have started the sale this week to coincide with the Sunset bundle.

unless they get lucky like your brother did, I'm sure those who are aware of the price cut will just wait until next week.

I bought the 399 kinectless version back on September 30th, I believe I got a good deal because it came with the limited edition of Watch Dogs, the one with the replica statue and mask, and I believe if you buy that seperately it costs about 150 plus tax (canadian dollars).

I'm happy they lowered the price so I can have more people to play online with, and more people to interact with on a daily basis that play Xbone.

Anyone else here experience "Xbox racism"? The other day I was on my phone with my friend discussing how the master chief collection is the best exclusive yet on X1, and a random guy walked by me on the street midst the conversation and yelled out "XBOX IS FOR ******S!!!!" and i notice if i bring up Xbox One really anywhere in crowed places, I get weird looks.

I can't understand how people think the Xbox one is that baad. It has way more exclusives then PS4. All PS4 released was Driveclub this quarter and it bombed terribly.

that just goes to show how far bad first impressions, bad pr, bad press, etc. can go to create a negative perception of you or your product.

as a PS4 owner myself, I fail to see how Sony can continually outsell the X1 other than people buying into the early negative perception of the X1.

in the initial months, sure, I could see it. but the X1 is in a far different place now. if I didn't own either console, and was in the market for one this holiday, I'd probably be more inclined to choose the X1 since it offers more "value" to me right now.

Sony won't maintain the lead the entire 8-10 years. It's just not possible. They'll falter.. PSN will be a prime reason.

and at some point, the PS4 will reach market saturation. the people who want to get a PS4 will already have bought one. of course, there will always be new customers, but certainly, at some point, the momentum has to slow.

MS just has to stay steady and consistent and keep doing what they're doing to improve the console and overall user experience. and focus on the games and exclusives.

But now it's a year and a half later, and Xbox has had a new leader for 6 months, and all I've been seeing is great changes since. I think Phil knows what he's doing and he's doing a great job focusing on price cuts and exclusive games and IP's.

In terms of effort (price cuts and buying franchises) and fan dedication, X1 wins no contest. There's also constant updates too, and i hear the PS4 lacks a lot of attention recently.

when it comes to updates and the frequency and "openness" of them, the X1 beats the PS4 hands down.

so how "limited" do you think the CoD bundle will be? is it going to be something that's hard to find by BF, with only limited quantities produced?

should I get it as early as possible, or even preorder/reserve it this week, if I want to be sure?

the Titanfall bundle lasted awhile on shelves, but that wasn't a "limited" edition like the CoD bundle, I don't think.

Maybe 20. But that's it. Because honestly, I see the game's price dropping like a rock. Not just because it's a disappointment, but Far Cry 4, Halo, and Advanced Warfare are all coming out in the same damn month. And then there's Battlefield early next year.

You can already find new copies for 40 on eBay.

for $20, I'd pick it up. but there are plenty of other games I'd get first.

Halo, Sunset, Dragon Age are going to be my "main 3." hoping I can get those for around $40 each.

Diablo is another one. Then maybe Forza 2. Or WWE 2K15. those would be my "2nd tier" games.

Tomb Raider would be in my "bargain bin."

LOL. Yea im nervous about my store when it comes to BF. Altho iv heard my particular location isn't too big on BF as we don't really offer any kind of deals that force ppl to swarm a particular store.

Probably. Just not officially. I.e. some store will have a 10% or 20% of all games, or a buy one, get one half off kind of deal.
