well, everyone has different opinions and priorities.

I'm not opposed to owning more than one console ( obviously ), but it has to make sense to do so. both from a games/features perspective and financial perspective.

Game-wise and feature-wise, the X1 became a more attractive option for me over the course of the year.

But still, if I had to pay full price for an X1, even with the $50 price cut, I wouldn't have bought one.

Same with the Wii U. I'm interested in the new Zelda game. but, I wouldn't buy a Wii U just for that one game. especially now that I already have a PS4 and X1. it just wouldn't make sense to do that. But if the Wii U came down in price more, and there were many other games I'm interested in, then I might consider it.

besides, I don't think you quite fit the description Pat outlined in that post. You are a PS fan obviously, but you have expressed the interest in getting an X1 in the future, should the need arise. you just don't see that need right now and would prefer to stick with the PS4. and that's fair.

you are not automatically "closed off" to getting the other console because of your brand loyalty to one console. and I think that's what Pat was referring to in that post. People who refuse to buy another console for no other reason than brand loyalty to the opposing one, even when the other console offers games/features that they want.

but, of course, if someone feels that way, that's their right, too. so, personally, I wouldn't call that position nonsense even though I disagree with it.

they'd be really dumb not to have the bundle in the U.S... well, maybe not. they know what they're doing.

but i heard in order to combat it, sony's gonna have a gta v bundle for black friday

...that was uncalled for. i've come to the conclusion that i'm not a fanboy, i just like playstation games more, and that's why i favor that platform. i still think xbox is dope. but if favoring one platform over the other automatically makes one a fanboy, then they needed to be given much more credit.

Dude you were constantly on the verge of a meltdown every time MS did something that might "harm" Sony. You talk about Sony "winning" or "losing" the console war as though you have stock in the company. You were losing it when guys like X were declaring intrest in the X1. That's what I'm talking about, not just the fact U own one platform. That alone doesn't define ones loyalty.

Now granted, I haven't seen you meltdown as much lately, but for a long period there, I swear u were gonna have a mental breakdown.

I wonder if MS(or Sony for that matter) will run any BF or CM deals through Live or the PSN?

Iv gone all digital so I cant take advantage of any in store offers and I cant quite afford to get EVERY game I want so it'd be cool if there were some discounts through Live on some of these new releases(specifically Halo and WWE)

Went to Target this morning and got Sunset Overdrive, Lords of the Fallen and Shadow of Mordor. Installed all by which to play first?

Hoping for another 2get1 deal in the coming weeks for MCC, FC4 and COD.

I seriously considered it, but I got ACU and Sunset Overdrive as part of my bundle. Still really want Halo, but may wait.

I kind of want to try Call of Duty, but 120 dollars for one game I really want and two "maybes" is pretty steep. Especially with crazy sales around the corner.

yeah. it's not worth it if you don't really want the games.

I do want to get Halo, ACU, and Diablo (free), so I think I'll go Tues or Wed. those 3 for $120 would be like paying $40 for each, and I'm willing to pay that price for those games.

I'd rather get most of my shopping done before BF ( despite the deals ). just not too keen on going out that day to shop.
