I will say though, I still think it's stupid that I can't save progress unless I am connected to the internet.

No. I know that game. But regular games in general. I can't even play some of the single player games I have downloaded cause it says I need to be connected to the internet.

I hate that gaming seems to be getting so internet reliant these days. Single player games or the campaign sections of multipleyer games at least should be fine without internet (ALWAYS!).

I'm just getting sick of these single player centric games incorporating online co-op. It's getting annoying when I feel like I have to play a game with someone on my friends list every time. And I like playing a lot of MP centric games, I play a lot of COD, GTA and a little bit of Halo, but now that something like Far Cry 4 is co-op, I just find it annoying. Those were games that I loved going off on my own, but now I constantly get pressured, or people get annoyed with me if I don't play with them. And I heard rumors of the new Zelda being co-op. God, I hope not.

I like co-op but you shouldn't be disadvantaged by playing solo.

I don't have a Playstation, so I'm not sure? XBL was only down for about 3 hours yesterday. But still, that's pretty ****** of them to do that on Christmas.

I don't get how anyone supports them who isn't involved. They're not going to hesitate when it comes to mucking up your stuff when it comes to it if you happen to use something they're targeting.

I wasn't even on Xbox at all the whole time. Just annoys me that some people are devoting their time just to pissing off loads of other people. And if I had arranged a team co-op session it really would have been an inconvenience. At my age it isn't easy getting all these old bastards together at the same time. t:

I wasnt even able to set the console up until live was back up. Its like they dont have firmware on them out of the box

Oh does anyone have a problem with Killer Instinct? It keeps saying I need to install an update and the update gets interrupted at 40% and says I need to try and cancel and reinstall. I wouldn't mind deleting and reinstalling if I didn't lose all my progress. Bloody digital games.

You don't lose your progress by uninstalling games. The save file is a separate thing. Plus I believe the Xbone automatically saves everything to the cloud anyway.

My issue with them in particular is they aren't trying to accomplish anything. Anon "claimed" that they were trying to show Sony and the others how vulnerable their servers were, LS isn't trying to get anything out of their actions other than to annoy people.
