You don't lose your progress by uninstalling games. The save file is a separate thing. Plus I believe the Xbone automatically saves everything to the cloud anyway.

Cool, so it's like 360. Where do you go to see the save file and game install separately and delete the one you want? I've really not got to grips with this system yet.

It's all on the same screen I think. Go to Games & App, go to that game, press start, and then Manage Data (or game or whatever it is). Pretty sure install data and save data is there.

Yeah, I just checked to be sure. When you go to manage game, the screen should be split in half, with the install data on the left with a big picture of the game's cover, and the save data on the right with a small picture of you profile picture.

I'm torn, on one hand I already have GTA V for my 360 but I'd like to play it on the current-gen. On the other I can't afford a good surround sound system right now and I've heard these provide good surround sound quality on the cheap.

If you've already got GTA V on 360 I'd get the headset and wait for X1 GTA V to go down in price (the headset likely won't go down that much).

I've got an old set of Turtle Beach X11s that you can have, if you want. The only thing, is I don't have an X1 adapter or the chord that you use for a chat. You can buy them, though. Basically, its the headset and wireless base.

It's going back to $400.

The recent promotional pricing for the Xbox One is about to come to a close. The current price for the Xbox One, which is $350 USD, will end on January 3 and the price will return to $400, Microsoft said.

the real test for the X1 begins in January.

will sales drop back to pre-holiday, pre-cut levels?

or can they sustain the momentum?

it will be interesting to see if the major retailers continue to offer their own promotions/bundles that effectively keep the price around $350.

If the retailers do that they'll probably be alright. Otherwise I could see sales drop off and the price being permanently reduced in the not-too-distant future.

well the other thing you guys have to consider is software. there's gonna be a bunch of Ps4 games released all throughout 2015. there's only 4 I can think of off the top of my head for the xbone and they are... halo 5, rise of the tomb raider, quantum break, and scalebound. which is actually a lot, now that I think about it.

yeah, 2015 will be really competitive for console games.

but if they're still deciding between it and the Ps4, it's much more balanced decision making.

Yeah I think sales will fall off for a few months and then it will come down to people making informed decisions between the 2 based on what each offers at the time and what's important to each individual consumer. Exclusives will definitely get more important as the year goes on.
