Another review. I skimmed just in case it had spoilers. But this is a CW affiliate employee, so he might not be wholly objective

Overall, I give Man of Steel 3 1/2 out of 4 super potatoes.

"Only The CW seemed to get the character right on Smallville which had a successful ten-year run, but that was on television."

Nothing against Smallville, but that was kinda funny.

I think he was meant to say Jor El

His only negative was he think Superman vs Zod went on a bit too long

60/100? How is that a good spin on things? What are you talking about? That's a Grade D. That is not a good spin. That is a terrible attempt at a good spin. I give that good spin a 2/10.

Look at her reviews on RT, compare to her scores on CC, then calm down.

Some of the comments here are laughable. Wait until you SEE the movie. Geez. The reviews for this movie will be good. Of course there will be bad ones. Don't expect MoS to score mid or high 90's RT. Expect RT to be similar to Batman Begins but better. The film does have issues but nothing to cry over.

I'm actually expecting slightly worse, critically. But there isn't a Katie Holmes in sight, and the action looks to be the best ever. And the replication of comic poses makes me giddy

We seemed to have moved on from the directors cut talk, but deborah snyder elaborated a bit on the 3hr20min cut. They said it was the assembly cut, with all the takes and everything thrown in. That they only cut one entire scene that they didnt think fit with the rest of it. Everything else was just shortened and trimmed. It didnt sound like they had enough for some 3hr MEGADIRECTORSCUT.

I can name about 10 movies that scored higher than Batman Begins on RT that aren't nearly as good as it, so I wouldn't be too worried if MoS hits 90 or not.

(and I could probably find 5 better films that scored lower as well)

YES!!! most underrated movie ever. One of my favorite movies, top 15 for me. I would give it 9/10.

So that guy is obviously not used to that type of thing. LOL

For those who don't feel like watching it, he liked it, said its better than TDKR almost TDK caliber. He also had Indiana Jones and SM3 Posters up behind him.

No. Dench was a fantastic M.

The problem is that the M she plays in CR is NOT the same version as the one in the Brosnan films - the film makers have admitted as much. She was kept as her prestige casting would help the reboot - what the producers claimed anyway.

But if you do a reboot, recast EVERYONE. Yet for CR, here was an actor coming back to play the same role, but a different version of the character...... Huh???!!!


But it worked!!! It could have easily been a disaster.
