Oh lord... I hope the tide doesn't start to turn. The movie has been having great momentum so far.
Doh.True, but he compares it heavily to The Dark Knight Rises. Which he also gave a "Rotten" review.

Funnily enough I prefer Begins to TDK but TDK was amazing. I also prefer X1 to X2. X2 was typical Bryan Singer for me, not big enough and long as hell, I was bored to tears by the end. XFC is the best X film for me but that's just my opinion.
You're practically me with these opinions! There aren't many of us who feel this way, I don't think.
t:Some of you guys need to stop worrying so much about movie critics and RT.
Seriously, go see the movie for yourself. Dont let someone else tell you what you think of it. This is why I will never take a movie critic seriously. How much validity is there in a job where you get paid to tell your opinion on something? It doesnt really make sense to me and it never will.
What I've read so far on twitter and other blogs, Id say roughly 90% of the people who saw the movie loved it.
So, take a chill pill and everything will be okay.![]()
If a 3/5 doesn't count as fresh, there is no way in hell I'm taking this tomato site seriously.

Actually, that's a small positive (fresh).

I agree. I think that's why the simple fresh or rotten thing becomes more accurate though. That's basically a yes/no to if they recommend it or not. It's simple to follow and should be fairly consistent between different reviewers.oh manbut to give it 3/5 and call it rotten is funny.

Just something I put together. Critics' Choice scores versus Rotten Tomatoes scores for various comic book adaptations (Iron Man 1,2, and 3; The Avengers; Batman Begins, the Dark Knight, and TDKR; Spiderman 3; Captain America: TFA; The Hulk and Incredible Hulk; Superman Returns; and Thor).
Clearly, a linear trend exists, but the correlation is fairly weak (the linear regression can only account for ~63% of the variance in the two data sets). That said, if we assume the Critics' Choice score will remain at 88/100 (as it has for several days now), then the linear model predicts a Rotten Tomatoes score of ~84%; that, in my opinion, is a fairly conservative estimate from the data, and the final RT score has an equal chance of being higher or lower than that.
Thought that might help some people calm their nerves.

Heh, no, I didn't bold his BB opinion because I didn't agree with it. I hated Begins. I highlighted his TDK being awesome opinion.![]()
I think people are missing the point here. The point is, this movie wasn't expected to be a 3/5. Everyone on here was expecting a 3.5/4 star film or 4/5. Something comparable to the Nolan series critically. And if you didn't have those expectations, I say they were too low, for whatever reason. So ask yourself, why on Earth should 3/5 be an acceptable or a fresh review, if you are a reviewer and expected something that was on par with another recent superhero trilogy?

Why exactly did you hate Begins?
Beginser here. Gotham just had so much life to it in BB. By TDKR, it was Generic City, USA.YES!

The first half of the movie was so slow and boring. I practically fell asleep. I liked the third act...the part that pretty much everyone else thought was the worst part of the movie.

Look at this guys rating of MoS: 3/5. This is classified as a rotten review, and yet EVERY other film that he gave 3/5 to or more is considered a fresh review. W.T.F.?
