I wonder what's going on through Zack, Dave and the rest of the folks at WB's minds right now. They have to be aware at this point.

Let's wait and see the movie for ourselves, but we all have biases.

I don't go to Metacritic. If it's great, it still might have a little over a 70 percent.

If the movie does big and it's in the process of doing big right now, they wont give a sh it. As long as the geeks, general audience and fans love it, that's what matters to Zack and Dave, and Nolan, I'm sure of it.

They are loving the positive news and that WOM is awesome. Plus it broke a box office record in the Phillipines already. WB aint worried about RT trust me

Even if the movie still does well at box office. If they truly believe the film is as good as they stated in pre showing interviews, they will probably feel quite annoyed and even slighted by reviewers who gave Avengers/IM3 a pass... yet went on to complain in some cases that MOS has "too much action"

Hopeful look under Top Critics. The overall can be affected over the years. The Top Critic rating is over once the film is out and no more reviews are added to it. Top Critic - BB got 63%. There's no way in knowing what it's overall RT rating was all the way back then, so the closest accurate number we have is that TC rating.

With all the reviews and issues that people have for this film, and I take Autonet and Jow review into consideration this movie should be a at 70 to 71% on RT.

But it just seems the dislike for MOS is because its not Donner-verse. Look at SR at 76% (which means a really good movie with flaws that are not detrimental). SR is a "meh" film but it spews Donner.

In Donner Superman was prince-charming, the White night. MOS seems like Birthright and Earth One where Superman is a conflicted character where his serious circumstances causes him to be serious.

I havent seen it yet. But my 2 cents.

Oh wow...

So it's in league with those films?

w-wow...

Does anybody else remember what we were saying when The Dark Knight Rises came out? "This might be the most polarizing and divisive CBM of all time." :funny: The Dark Knight Rises has an 87% on RottenTomatoes, which is just about the average RT score for every film nominated for Best Picture at the 85th Academy Awards.

Until Man Of Steel, I've personally never seen such a divided audience for a CBM. We've had wholly spectrumized reception from this film - there's a large number of people who hate it, worship it, kind of like it, care nothing about it, and. . .well haven't seen it.

Still though, the fact that this film is creating such a swath of controversy is actually kind of exciting to me. Can't wait to see where I fall. :woot:

I just hope no one goes into watching this film with a mindset that they will force themselves into liking the film just to spite the critics/score it's getting.

Well of course. You can't sell a movie with "From the writer of Blade Trinity, Ghost Rider and DaVinci's Demons" at the top of your resume :oldrazz:

Hey....DaVinci's Demons isn't half bad.

But...but...but....them critics hate comic book movies!!!!

Thats why 300 is getting a sequel. 60% on RT but a 90% from the general audience.

I'm not, but my expectations are a bit lowered. My early screening was cancelled and I kind of wish I had seen it before all the reviews came out now for objectivity.

Has Devin Faraci graced us with his review yet? Someone like him I bet was intending to give it a negative review but will change it to positive to spite the RT consensus.

I would be far more bummed out by this if i wasn't already losing my s*** at getting my hands on Last of Us tomorrow. (at least that got outstanding reviews :oldrazz:) So if i'm widely disappointed in the film, then I've got something to perk me up for sure.
