Actually it isn't 'likely' anymore because they've been filming dialogue scenes in IMAX

Spill review of Warrior. They talk about how comic fans should'nt have any doubt about Tom Hardy playing Bane. It's about 1:07 into the review. They say he's so bulked up, that he doesn't even look like a person anymore.

Sorry to bring up a dead horse, but I am laughing at some of the comments I see on other sites about Bane not being big enough. I know it was discussed here already at length, but there's two points to be made:

A) He might look bigger after post-production

B) Bale isn't "big enough" to be Batman either, in the comics, Batman is at least an inch or two taller and fifteen to thirty pounds heavier.

What is funny is we have seen a promo photo of him, where he looks enormous, and a quick shot of him going after Batman, where he also looks enormous. Nobody is complaining about the only two official shots we have of him but everyone is freaking out about photos that were taken by people who have nothing to do with the production of the movie. I have no doubt that Bane will be a monster.

Remember when the teaser was leaked and Bane looked so massive that people thought that it was Catwoman who was backing up from him?

The same trailer where everyone's perceptions of said scene were severely skewed because of shoddy clarity? In the same way that no one talks about Catwoman in the trailer because the clear footage showed otherwise, it is the same reason people aren't going nuts as they were about Bane's size because they realized he was simply going up some stairs.
