He looks as though he's wearing lifts there at Heinz field but at the courthouse scene he dosent look to be anywhere near as tall as Bale, which to me is strange.

As I said, the Heinz Field shoot is low intensity dialogue. The scene at the courthouse is high intensity and action packed. Imagine fighting in 3 inch lifts? Blister city. No thanks. There are alternative techniques they can use to achieve the same effect during fight scenes.

Notice how the sole isn't completely flat, but is more elevated in the heel area, forcing Hardy basically to stand on his tip-toes.

Looks like just regular boots to me that have a lift. Who cares anyways.
