The Dark Knight Rises What should the final scene of the trilogy be?

Batman is looking down at the city. He hears Gordon behind him say "Well, we took care of Bane. But what about escalation."

"Escalation?" Batman turns and... !

Gordon is dressed in red tights and a yellow cape! Nolan's final twist is that Gordon becomes Robin!

Gordon: "I figured with escalation, you might need a sidekick. Also, it will allow me to 'get one of those.'"

Batman: "No, you know what, I already have a sidekick."

Gordon: "Who?"

Batman: "Its a secret sidekick. Sorry."

Gordon: "Well you could have two..."

Batman: "No... not really... and egad man, you are wearing a mask AND a mustache? How is that going to strike fear into criminals? You look like a skinny Mario brother."

Gordon: "Yeah well your voice isn't scary either! [Bleep] you Batman, I'm going off and becoming my own superhero! Nightwing!"

Batman: "You don't have to thank me..."

Gordon: [mumbles cursing as he walks away]

young bruce wayne wakes up in bed with a bandage on his head

"welcome back son how are you feeling" his father says.

"where am I? what happened?" responds a bewildered bruce.

"you fell son, but not to worry I've borded that nasty bat cave up, they wont bother you again."

"But.... I was.....It seemed so real.... like a lifetime really.....was it all a dream?"

"come on son were treating you to another Andrew Lloyd webber musical, it's got cats in it."

"noooooooooooo!"

then he wakes up again inside his dream with in a dream" dun dun dun dun dun (que the horns)

Ahh that's where i heard that music from it was in my other dream about inception or somthing

"why do we fall bruce? So that we can learn to shut up!" thomas replies.

"wait no that's not right, I'm still dreaming!" Bruce sternly disagrees.

"the fear toxin, it's still rattling around in there - Damn you scarecrow!"
