Jungle Book is a bad comparison to compare Wonder Woman's weekdays with. It was released in April. Wonder Woman has summer weekdays with the vast majority of schools out.The Jungle Book(opened to $103 like WW) made 4 million on its second Monday and went on to gross $966 million(i thought it was 800 before). So how is the bad?
You compare Monday to Monday not weekend to Monday. The Jungle book had 18 million on its second Sunday and then got that 4 million the next Mon. Still made almost a billion. Wonder Woman is playing like an animated family movie. Again how is that number, if it is true, bad?
Yes but if WW indeed gets 3.5-3.8M for Monday that's a 70%+ drop (the 42% drop mentioned in Mendelson's article is drop from last Monday, not drop from Sunday like in The Number's chart).
Btw how the hell can every movie even include Wimpy Kid and Snatched already has number but WW hasn't? Hopefully that means WB has too much money to count.
I don't see anyone saying it would be, so I don't see the point of your post.so would that be the end of the world? lol-no
The numbers being debated are probably just a guess based on the chart we are now debating...![]()
But they HAVE TO BE RIGHT DAMN IT.....THEY HAVE TO BE.![]()
Don't remember a studio ever being this late with their box office numbers. Did WB's box office guy fall asleep on the job or something?
She already used her legs to keep the Mummy under wraps.![]()
4.8M Monday drop 68% from Sunday
It is correct:i think the percentage drop listed is incorrect.
doesn't make sense to me
Last year the big Halloween costumes for girls were Harley Quinn and Supergirl, this year holy cow they better have LOTS of Wonder Woman in stock.
It is correct:
$14,845,843 Sunday
$4,808,414 Monday
Monday Drop = 1-(4,808,414/14,845,843)*100% = 67.61%.
Good number
Wonder Woman will likely pass Man of Steel (291 million) on Thursday night and finish the weekend over 315 million.
