With the reviews, and opening against Alice 2, I don't think this is going to do as well as DOFP. 100M for the 4 day weekend, 80M for the weekend proper.

Yes, but it is still going to effect the box office. I just don't see this performing as well as DOFP which had pretty high critical praise.

Italy numbers were not good. It made 640K euros and that compares to 900K for DoFP. Though, DoFP were Thursday and Friday and XM:A was Wednesday and Thursday.

That's great to know. I really believe this movie will do better than XDoFP sales-wide.

One reason is, XDoFP was focused much on Wolverine

Second reason: Many characters in X-men: Apocalypse were given time to shine. (kinda the opposite of my first reason. )

Third reason which is just my opinion, done better than the previous x-men movie.

The RT for Alice 2 is worse than Apocalypse.

I really don't wanna wish the upcoming movies will get low RT scores for X-men: Apocalypse to continue to be strong in the box office.

So, even if the upcoming movies will have a good RT, I know X-men: Apocalypse will still do well.

Most non comic readers will appreciate the movie than those who know well about the X-men.

I have always been doudtful it would make more than DOFP especilly domesticly
