I have hope that it will make 800m ww. Nobody will take my hope away from me.
 
I would love to see how the accountants spun that number.

I am highly skeptical. DOFP had a budget of 200M. Even with cutting all the old trilogy actors, I seriously doubt the movie would be cheaper with all the disaster porn CGI. Oscar was casted in 2014. Yes, he was already casted in Star Wars, but this was before his break out year in 2015. The whole new cast, Issac, Turner, Sheridan, McPhee, Munn, etc all probably cost less than Jackman alone in DOFP. Throw in Stewert, McKellen and Berry, and thats a lot more cash.

Jennifer Lawrence made 500,000 for Mystique in First Class, and she was already nominated for an Oscar in Winter's Bone in 2010. No way is Sophie Turner or Tye Sheridan making more than 1 million. I'm actually really curious how much Lawrence is making for Apocalypse (or the other FC actors). It probably isn't much (probably only a few million), though she might get points in the back end. She's basically said she might be back IF Fox pays her enough. Hell, considering she's making 20 million for Passengers...I wouldn't be back unless I get a big increase in salary (especially if they continue to go the make up route instead of mo-cap).
 
I'm curious where did the $241million figure come from? Did the marketing cost around $70million?
 
The ending of Apocalypse gives her outfit so future films would only require her to have face with blue makeup and red wig.

It also depends if fox thinks it's worth paying her to come back.

I'm tired of changed of actor. If you want to know my opinion, Fox should either keep the same actors from FC/DOFP/Apocalypse trilogy or start doing movies again on the present with the cast of X1/X2/X3.

Empire, Business Insider and a few others all had a number above 200m.

they won't bring back original cast after wolverine.
 
Just keep Fassbender and McAvoy around for while longer and I'll be happy :D.

if Wolverine 3 is goodbye than I'd expect a lot of cameos from the world cast. But I'd like even more for they include Rogue as a main character in this movie. Let her have flight and super strength.
 
^Agreed.
Wolverine being a western is the best place to showcase a badass Rogue.
 
not surprised the OW weekend estimates are around 80-100 i am looking forward to this film but film goers are looking for something fresh and XMA looks like its bringing nothing new to the genre

a villain wanting to destroy the world and good guys must stop him never seen that before

very doudtful they are in major roles with exception of stewart.

also some are forgetting with r rating the next wolverine film may not be as high a budget as people think.
 
With X-23 in the movie it seems very unlikely rogue will be in it, unless it's a closure cameo
 
I don't mind where she turns up as long as she is like the Rogue I've been reading about for the last 30 years.
 
Tons of new showtimes added on fandango for anyone who hasn't picked up tickets yet.
