Except Liev Schrieber himself said in interviews for Origins that he's playing the same Sabertooth from X1. Plus, there's the whole "Wolverine's dog tags" issue that should've told people that Victor and Sabertooth are the same person. In Origins, we know that Victor and Stryker were working together so he knows that Wolverine volunteered for the weapon x experiment and that Stryker made new dog tags for him. In X1, when Sabertooth stole and wore Wolverine's dog tags throughout the movie, that showed that he knows who Wolverine is which should've alert the audience that we're seeing the same Sabertooth in both Origins and X1.

Sure not all people will notice the difference and thats why we got multiple continuity errors and things such as 2 Emma Frosts, XOW Sabretooth isn't that well connected to X1 Sabretooth, Magneto helping Prof X to build Cerebro, etc....

I think they should avoid doing things like that again.

With Sabretooth If,and that's a big If,he's In Apocalypse the X-Men version Is irelvent since that film Is completly erased by the time travel of DOFP.
Now as far as origins go question do they keep it true to previetnam part of opening montage of Origins with him as wolverine's half brother and fought with him In Civil war,world war 1 and 2,or would they just ignore past films versions of sabretooth entirely.

Now we could before long see some casting announcements per twitter If Bryan Singer does it the same as with DOFP.

It would probally be confirmation of returning cast first and possably is Channing Tatum playing Gambit In APocalypse.It might not be till january till
brand new actors are announced.

Before long if there Is any truth to Simon Kinberg's some of original cast will return comments we may get an incluring of it.Although Kinberg may have only be meaning Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart.

Inless there are some surprises for us the returning cast announced by SInger would likely be James Mcavoy,Michael fassbender,Jennifer Lawrence,Nicholas Hoult,Evan Peters,and jackman.If Channing Tatum Is in film he may be first of new actors announced.Even if Stewart Isn't announced upfront he could be In Apocalypse as cameo they want to try to keep quiet about just like him In origins,Hugh In FC,Famke Janssen,and Ian Mckellen In The wolverine,and Famke,James Marsden,and Kelsey Grammer In DOFP

you will get so many people asking how does origins sabretooth become X1 sabretooth and if you keep going along those lines of connecting dots in the film then people will forget about the whole time travel thing and expect an explanation to how he becomes X1 sabretooth

and i don't think singer and Co will want to take time out to do that, remembering of course that the things that happen in apocalypse probably won't have happened in the original timeline, but how do you explain that to an audience

Lets take a look, Fox is using Deadpool again, with the same actor, and they will introduce a totally different Gambit. Do you really think they care about explaining stuff to general audience?

So I had a strange day today. I am driving home from Leeds with my mum and then she is called by a collegue who is just chatting away before talking about her family and her daughters friend. So anyway, she lays down this random piece of info that left me like O_O... her daughter, who is an aspiring actress, has this male friend who is "down to the last 3 for a role in the new x-men". Now obviously when I heard this I was like but I had to be silent for the whole call so now I don't know which role its for (it could be for random mutant for all I know) but I am asking my mum to find this info out for me ASAP!

"She's (Psylocke) a fan favourite, and also a favourite of mine. We have a small part that she plays in 'Last Stand', and we talked about including her in 'DOFP' quite seriously actually. There was a version of the script she was in and we even auditioned some actors in Montreal. But we didn't feel there was enough of a part she would play in a movie that was already full of many, many mutants. She has a cool power. I know Bryan thinks she's a neat character so there's certainly a chance she'll be in an 'X-Men' movie some day. Hopefully there'll be a lot of 'X-Men' movies and there's lot of mutants we're yet to fully explore onscreen, even if they've had cameos before. Now we're making more films there's a chance to dig deeper."
