Apocalypse may be painted blue or motion captured to appear blue.Elba would
be cast for powerful voice and commanding presence.

Being X-Men villain you have to live up to likes of Ian Mckellen, Brian Cox, Kevin Bacon, and Peter Dinklage.

I don't really consider Dinklage's Trask to be a villain villain like McKellan, Cox, and Bacon were.

One of the things I really like about DOFP is that it is almost without a central villain, everyone has their own agenda and there is plenty of grey area for certain characters. If anything was a villain in the movie, it was the future sentinels.

Maybe that is why he was ruffling feathers at Marvel with his recent comments. He wants pink slip.

Plus Nokio isn't the only one that would like to see poc actor. Blue skin or not, he is suppose to be ancient Egyptians. I personally have intense hate for HW whitewashing specially when it comes to ancient Egypt.

In my imaginings of X:A....I can see Xavier being prompted to recruit Scott, Jean and Ororo after having visions/nightmares of Apocalypse's rising.

When Apocalypse awakens(via Ship, which needs to be in this movie) ...it is a worldwide event(i.e. Independence Day), which prompts a military response i.e. total devastation of armed forces and a major city. Logan(with Adamantium laced bones) shows up a part of an elite squad of government-funded mutants to deal with A. They are ambushed and Wolvie is taken.

Magneto and Mystique with a new Brotherhood go out to intercept and embrace their fellow mutants. The Horsemen show up with Logan as Death and decimate the Brotherhood with Mags and Misty barely making it out alive with help from Xavier and his new X-men(Scott, Jean, Storm) & Beast.

They all regroup at the mansion. Xavier attempts to make contact with A through Cerebro only to see what A's vision of the future much to Xavier's horror. His interaction with A through Ship causes him to see more than he ever expected to see (cosmic stuff, maybe Shi'ar images), psychic and energy backlash cause his hair to fall out.

A and the Horsemen broadcast to the world that humanity is about to end and the whole survival of the fittest shtick....the X-men with Mags and Misty in tow arrive to stop the coming slaughter. Big battle ensues...Xavier manages to remove the brainwashing from Logan, who joins the good guys. They overcome the Horsemen and briefly battle A, which ends in a draw and A and the Horsemen leaving for the meantime.

You can insert all the drama and romance in between...I really could care less about all that...

Before, I pictured Idris Elba as Bishop not Apocalypse.

I feel like he's a little young for Apocalypse. I want someone older to play as Apocalypse like Terry O'Quinn or the guy who plays as the dad of Olivia Pope in the hit TV show Scandal.

I think mo-cap ala Brolin is a good choice to bring En Sabah Nur to the big screen. I hope he is in the running as a young black man I would like to see person of color as the lead vilian in these super hero films, yes we have Black Panther coming, but come on Fox don't be out shown by Marvel! They can do a lot w/his and Storm's Origin in Africa...

I also cast my vote for Zendaya as "Storm" she is a very beautiful young woman and I think its time for her to really break out in Hollywood...

I disagree. He has huge presence as Heimdall and is one of my favourite parts (and the Observatory one of my favourite sets) of the Thor franchise. He's very memorable in such a minor part.

I like this idea for the most part I just don't think even as Death Wolverine himself would be so much of a threat to kill most of the Brotherhood and leave Magneto,Mystique,Xavier, The Big 3, and Beast barely surviving. They would wipe the floor with him im sorry that's a lot of power just up against Wolverine, espiecally if he is laced with adamantium.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'd make a couple of changes though:

-Wolverine shouldn't be working with the government again. Doing that essentially completely skips over the whole Mystique saving him thing from DOFP. And given how it was the LAST scene of the movie (not counting the stinger), it's something that needs more exploration imo.

-Mags and Mystique should not be working together. It also goes against what happened in DOFP. Also I just flat-out don't like the idea of spending so much time and effort developing Mystique as her own character with her own beliefs/way of doing things, only to then have her quickly go back to Mags and be his follower again. It's just not interesting to me. They should each be doing their own thing independent of each other.

Elba deserves bigger role than Heimdall.

There's been no indication they have any kindof siblingsbip in the movies though. I don't think they've even spoken to each other or had more than one or two scenes in the same room.

If Sue and Johnny are adopted brother and sister in the new F4 that'll be more accurate than Heimdall and Sifs siblingship adaption

It was a waste of Elba but at least he can turn up in X-films or the DCCU still. Was Heimdall possibly small enough that the GA might not notice if he played a big MCU role outside of Thor? If not then it was exactly the wrong size of role to put him in.

I'd be so happy to have Elba as Apocalypse. He's a good actor with a deep booming voice which is all i really ask for the role.
