it is the simple pleasure of criticism what is even possible
usually say that they are like this, because of the shipp interview about apocalypse, but nobody knows how the editing process was, she may have done everything she said, and in editing the bryan decided to cut a lot of thing
That's one thing I find often about some fans, they seem to hold
What happens during the process of filming vs what it is scene during the final product vs what it is in the initial script are all completely different things.
It seems as if fans expect to know what they should know what the final version should be or even if they know how much is going to be left in the final version of the film. From what I have seen of the deleted scenes and Alexandra''s interviews, I could understand why she said the things she said and felt the way she did. But the final product took those scenes out, leaving her as a half mute henchman with a fanaticism for Mystique.
Certainly seems that way yeah.
As someone who reads what happens in this forum, among seven other X-Men boards, this type of disconnect fans who like the movies vs those who don't vs those who want a MCU movie.
I have seen fans who hate the Fox X-Men film imply that you must not understand or appreciate the comics if you like the films in any way. I have seen Fox fans attack fans for wanting a change of pace or wanting a film where there character's come across like their comic counterparts (than itself is completely reasonable) as they understand it.
But the bias for the films can come across as near hysterical imo. I've never met people who hate an movie or decide can't be good because of petty reasons. Like one poster said "Some of you need to just accept other people's opinions and move on."
What Sophie or Alexandra says is no different from what Chris Evans or Emily Olsen will say during film over the promotional portion of it. Or even what Simon Kinberg says vs what Kevin Fiege says. All that is different is how fans choose to interpret it.
Is it going to be good? I don't know. Is there a lot to mistrust this film about, especially films that Kinberg wrote? Sure. But he has hands in good films as well, and it does seem like he wants to do his best to not only rectify the mistakes he made but do the best film he can. It is impressive how much a fan can hold against one person just for their take on the film.
