It is a very dark, sad film. But it earns it. It didn't feel tonally forced, it felt adult in a way few superhero films are. That being said, it is a very intense experience and I can't begrudge a person for not wanting go see it if they don't want to go through that. Some people are more sensitive, for whatever reason. A friend of mine just recently became a father and is going through some other life altering things. He said he wasn't in the mood for something so heavy, and I get that.

I just saw the trailer for Iron Fist for the first time and it looks terrible. Not surprised by the reaction.

I only finished Luke Cage a couple of days ago and I loved it. That rough New York crime and old school hip-hop is my s**t. Loved the characters.

Jessica Jones started off good then started getting repetitive, bad acting and a waste of that villain. Still can't get into Daredevils first season. Couldn't take the acting, characters did nothing for me. So I stopped it. I heard the second season is "not as good" by way too many people. So I might just check out all of the Punisher scenes on YouTube lol. I saw a couple of those Punisher/Daredevil scenes and I didn't see anything I haven't seen before.

Rosario Dawson is not only the thread to all of these shows, she's the MVP.

The reaction to Iron Fist's bad reviews is hilarious. Many Marvel fans claim that the show was panned only because Danny is white, even though critics point out many other problems. There are also these gems:

I'm just worried that critics will now be biased against Marvel going forward after some minor missteps and be harsher on GOTG2 than they really should be.

Well the DC shows are pathetic and I don't know what the ratings are for each show. But yeah, Iron Fist looks like trash so it doesn't matter to me if they're just hating on it or praising it. They don't have some agenda with hating on Marvel properties. It's probably just a crappy show.

To be fair TDK(R) suit is pretty underrated. Nolan definitely perfected the lighting of the suit in Rises.

The 89 suit still looks the best, visually. Though I maintain that Bale's suit is still the most practical.
