The husband’s friend was hilarious

Seemed too funny to be true but as we saw towards the end, it was accurate

LMAO

Also Geoff Johns posted about Walter Hamada's appointment on twitter. And of course Snyder fans didn't pass an opportunity to be absolutely toxic.

I just learnt of a thing that makes me shake my head a lot, that it exists is scary, that some people treat it as a trend or a game is scarier. Ever since as I was a kid, maybe seven years old, I was aware that filing false police report can range from misdemeanor to felony, and today I learn about SWATting, and that it caused the death of someone.

Glad they got it right. I can't believe it's almost been 10 years since TDK came out. I doubt I will ever be that hyped for a movie in my lifetime. Rises was probably right up there with TDK in terms of anticipation, but because you knew it was the final film it was a little different.

Yeah... hard to believe it's been 10 years. The hype really was unreal.

"Let's hear it, for Harvey Dent"
It's rare for a movie to make me cheer when I hear a line like that.

Dark Knight at number one and well deserved. Loved hearing the review of Batman Begins but wished it would have finished in the top ten. Also interesting to listen to the divisiveness that the Dark Knight Rises brought out in the reviewers. Really can't understand Wonder Woman's high positioning. I don't see it as a game changer in any sense of the word and thought it was pretty standard.

That list was questionable, to put it nicely.

I think I only looked at the top 20. There's definitely a few in that top ten that I think will drop over time and I think there are some older movies that I think are more deserving. I still can't understand the big deal about Logan. I thought it was ok, but to be in the top ten of all time? Maybe I missed something.

It's just a collider list. These people are not more important than us making a list. I usually agree with a few of them though, like Kristian Harloff and Jon Schnepp.

Logan is by far in the top 5/10.

On first view I thought it was good, but I wasn't feeling comfortable watching it. Had to do an X-Men movie marathon to watch it again and find more joy in it.

Maybe that would work. I don't know. I thought it was fine, but not really something that I'd watch multiple times. It was interesting to hear the reviewers in those videos. Gives a different perspective and in other instances it was interesting to see others sharing the sentiments about certain films.

I don't know why people need to feel comfortable watching something. Sometimes the point is to not make you comfortable.

OK. I did not enjoy it. I thought X-23 was annoying, the villain was a throwaway character who mostly stood there, and other scenes were not to my liking.
I did not enjoy it, felt no comfort in sitting through it.

The Dark Knight is getting a theatrical re-release for the 10th Anniversary! Hopefully that's global and not just North America.

I'd love to try and catch the film in theaters again. Especially in IMAX.

Bah god. The DCEU subreddit is triggered by that part. I can't link it because expletives everywhere.

BvS does not have Batman breaking international laws by bringing in someone from his home country cause he's wanted on U.S soil for being an accountant for gangs without a warrant. BvS is instantaneously more realistic than TDK.
  • I'll ignore that Batffleck stole, placed a tracker on a truck to kill people on the road while chasing them to find their hideout and wasting the tracker he placed.
  • I'll ignore the totally new and clean bathroom sink in an abandoned dirty condemned building Batffleck used to hit Superman on the head with.
  • I'll ignore that he stole stone in possession found by his rival after hacking his servers and later breaking and entering to obtain said property.
  • I'll ignore MARTHA.
  • I'll ignore "I failed him while he was alive, I won't fail him now that he's dead" with nothing to make that statement stick.
  • I'll ignore that he lit his bat signal on the GCPD rooftop while he's wanted by the very establishment that has a searchlight used to summon him, and he used that to call his then nemesis turned best frienemy.
  • I'll ignore that he took the time to change out of his anti-Superman armor to go home and change to his normal costume to fight kidnappers of Martha by callously murdering them.
  • I'll ignore that he sent the teaser to the Justice League that showed king Aquaman where that movie expresses he's not a king to a woman he -Bruce- barely knows.
  • I'll ignore the poorly dubbed "I thought she was with you" reply that made no sense for Batman in that context.
  • I'll ignore the opening scene of pointless slo-mo porn of an origin that leads to fake Batman Begins replica, and that one of Martha's necklace pearls fell with Bruce in that hole he fell in in the day of their funeral.
  • I'll ignore that he ran without protection or preparation to a danger zone to talk on the phone.
  • I'll ignore that he absolutely did not care for any of his employees whatsoever after the fall of his building and one of them surviving with damaged legs, but did not offer him another job or any kind of compensation.
  • I'll ignore the "1% chance" speech that applied to him very well but he pointed it out to his frienemy.

I'll also that TDK not completely adhering to real world laws does not break its pace or rules established in the previous entry in the series, and that 99% of it is a win.

BvS is underappreciated art that needs to be rereleased in theaters in its horrid ugly brilliantly executed extended cut that is worse than the theatrical release far more superior to any nonsense released by family friendly safe no risks jokes every 0 seconds Mahvel movies.
